Beautiful place to relax in Workum

This lovely apartment, located on the first floor, has beautiful views over the countryside, is right on the water and offers plenty of privacy. Through the front door, you enter a spacious hall where you walk up the stairs and enter the apartment. Through the hallway, you reach the bedroom with a comfortable double box spring bed. Opposite the bedroom is the toilet with the spacious bathroom next to it. At the end of the hallway is the spacious cozy living room with kitchen and also two sleeping places.

Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Unique location directly on the West Frisian surrounding dike with beautiful hiking and cycling routes. The historic center of Enkhuizen is about 5 km away, as well as the indoor swimming pool, recreational beach, sailing surf school, Fairy Tale Wonderland, the Zuiderzee Museum, Het Streekbos/Klimpark and the cozy shopping street with many restaurants.

Relax in this unique and fantastic split-level home: lots of light, space and cozy outdoor terraces. From the decking, you jump into the water, or you sail away with the paddle board or with the rowing boat! From the large kitchen, you can look out over the water. With a staircase down, you enter the living room where it is wonderful to spend time, and you are on the same floor as the water. One level lower are the bathroom and bedrooms, and you are "face to face" with the water.

Welcome to our lovely house "Achter de Turf" in Medemblik. Located on the flowing water. At the front, there is ample parking for your car, and if you come by boat, you can moor it in Westerhaven. The house offers plenty of comfort and is within walking distance of the city center, where shops, restaurants and cozy terraces are available. Medemblik is located on the IJsselmeer and the surrounding dike where you can enjoy the West Frisian area. Amsterdam is a 50-km drive.
