If you are looking for a larger shopping center, Gorredijk (known for Rinsma modeplein) Sportstad/Thialf Heerenveen, Drachten, Leeuwarden, and Sneek are also easy to drive to.

On colder days you can enjoy the wood stove. or take a lovely bath in the spacious bathroom. The house is located on the edge of the forest of the Drents-Friese Wold National Park, and within walking distance of the natural bathing water of the Canadameer. In this area you can enjoy walking and cycling, and there is plenty of space for sporting activities.

Weids Uitzicht | Kraanvogels | Fochteloërveen

Zodra je binnenstapt bij FEAN Nature Lodge trekt het uitzicht direct de aandacht. Door de grote panoramische ramen kijk je uit over de landerijen aan de rand van het Fochteloërveen. Met een beetje geluk zie je kraanvogels overvliegen. Deze smaakvol ingerichte lodge is de perfecte plek om op te laden en volop van de natuur te genieten. Ontspan op het houten terras of trek eropuit met de vier gratis fietsen. De mooiste wandel- en fietsroutes beginnen letterlijk voor de deur.

Relax in a detached, cozy cottage.

The detached cottage with underfloor heating and wood stove is located on a piece of land between the old harbor of Oldeberkoop and our farm. The lovely sunny garden with terrace, surround the cottage and give you all the privacy. In the morning, you can walk to the local bakery for fresh bread. A walk is easily started in the opposite park-like Molenbosch. With the free bicycles, you can explore the wooded, rural area via all kinds of routes. A place to unwind!

Log cabin in the middle of the forest

Hidden in the greenery is the log cabin. A place with lots of privacy on the edge of the forest and with a beautiful view. In the log cabin, you will find a double bed, a kitchen with fridge and stove, a sitting area, a dining area and a wardrobe. In good weather, you can sit on the terrace of the log cabin. The shower, toilet and a sink are located in a separate sanitary unit about 25 meters from the log cabin and are only used by the guests of the log cabin.

Guesthouse "De Kraanvogel"

Gastenverblijf ‘De Kraanvogel’ De sfeervolle blokhut is te vinden op het erf van een woonboerderij en beschikt over een eigen oprit. Beschut onder een houtwal kijkt u richting het Fochtelooërveen en de prachtige tuin. Gedurende de zomer kan het uitzicht belemmerd worden door de groei van mais of ander gewas. De blokhut bevat een slaap-, bad- en woonkamer en kan met een houtkachel verwarmd worden. U kunt zelf uw kopje koffie of thee zetten in de blokhut.

Cities such as Assen, Leeuwarden and Groningen are easily accessible. The house is completely and stylishly decorated and invites you to relax with a book by the fireplace.
