Whether you want to cycle, hike, fish, birdwatch, explore villages, or just do absolutely nothing. This is the place where you catch your breath.

It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. our B&B is located near the tourist center of Medemblik, on through navigable water, with a parking space on its own property. Our living room has an open kitchen with hob, Nespresso, kettle, fridge, and combi microwave. and Wi-Fi is available. It is a complete cottage with its own front door and from this ideally located accommodation you can also rent bikes, boating, walking, to museums and/or to the castle, or go on the scenic steam train to Hoorn, etc. You can also rent bikes from us.

Enjoy the views over the farmyard and the farmlands towards Abbekerk, Twisk/Opperdoes and Medemblik. Overlook continuous fishing and boating waters. Rent a boat or a SUP and go on the water! Nature reserve "Het Egboetswater" is nearby, and the beach of the sweet sea at Medemblik is also worth it. Cycling, walking, sailing or by car? You can go anywhere from here!

Welcome to our lovely house "Achter de Turf" in Medemblik. Located on the flowing water. At the front, there is ample parking for your car, and if you come by boat, you can moor it in Westerhaven. The house offers plenty of comfort and is within walking distance of the city center, where shops, restaurants and cozy terraces are available. Medemblik is located on the IJsselmeer and the surrounding dike where you can enjoy the West Frisian area. Amsterdam is a 50-km drive.
