Cat Forest # Autumn Forest is a 2-person accommodation with 7 cats and 1 dog. ***It is not suitable for those who hate cats because they live on the deck used by cats (you can give food or water depending on the situation^^) They are gentle and follow people well. It includes a private deck where you can enjoy barbecue and fire holes even when it rains. (Bring firewood or buy it at the accommodation) The location of the accommodation is located under the recreational forest in Joongmi Mountain, Yangpyeong-gun, and there are 2 famous valleys within 10 minutes by car if you want a clear stream of 6 km or more and a deep valley within a 3-minute walk. The accommodation consists of a double floor (1st floor-sofa and armchair, 2nd floor-bedroom) and is about 60m2. You can go directly to the barbecue deck through the large window in the front. The Cat Forest is divided into spring, summer, and autumn forests, and each has its own private deck, so you can spend a peaceful holiday in a separate flow. Sowol Hanok is nestled at the end of a street with lots of cute stores. A perfect location to immerse yourself in Bukchon Village. A bonus is it is right beside a hanok cafe with traditional Korean treats. The hanok is as described in the photos. The host did an amazing job welcoming us with cold tea and sweets. Everything was pristine and ready for relaxation. The hinoki bath was the ultimte reward after a long day of walking. It’s a unique experience not every tourist gets to do. Just note the house sits on a steep incline which might be difficult for those with heavy luggages. We chose to arrive via uber taxi for convenience. Also, follow the instructions on closing the screen doors and bathroom door as there are bugs that might enter from the outside.

Just one thing! It was a little difficult to find a parking space just by looking at Google Photos! Other than that, it's perfect. It was a place to stay for a while before playing golf at dawn, but the accommodation was so nice that I didn't want to go golfing. Thank you!

Have been traveling to S.Korea for a few years now for work, and always on the lookout for great properties & locations. Can say with great confidence that this cabin & host will meet you beyond your expectations. If its a comfortable escape or a new adventure you’re looking for, this is the stay for you. Despite its quiet exterior, Yangpyeong is very much like this stay - pleasantly full of new things to discover. You are left with not much to want. Terence is also a great host! Very accommodating & helpful. In addition to shooting out great suggestions & helpful tips on getting around, he also extended help that you very rarely come across (but always secretly hope for) on this platform. The raving reviews a great testament to this. If time allows, will definitely keep a lookout to return & be reacquainted with Ginger & this beautiful property.
