Family-friendly holiday rentals in Opossum Bay

We had an amazing stay in the Pod. The location was very private and peaceful and the hot tub was an absolute delight for a nice relaxing dip before bed. The host were absolutely amazing and were very helpful during our stay and we loved having the dogs to keep us company in the mornings while we were outside enjoying our coffee. Nel's place was an excellent home for us for four days while we explored Dark Mofo in Hobart. It wasn't right in the centre of town, being maybe 10-12 minutes easy drive, but the trade off of a peaceful street with amazing water views and the sounds of the ocean at night was well worth it. A lovely little comfy space with all we needed, including easy parking right out the front. Thanks Nel!

Tom and Cate’s place was amazing! One of the best places we have stayed! They had lots of thoughtful touches especially for the kids. They went above and beyond our expectations. The place is very cute, lovely and private. Facilities are great, and the spa very relaxing. Skye is a fantastic host, making sure we knew where everything was for a great stay. She was very accommodating, flexible and easy to communicate with.

Beautiful home and fantastic host! Super clean, elegant space with a very large kitchen, living space and incredibly comfortable bed. Scottie was extremely accommodating with both our 11pm check in and use of the spa under the stars. Always available to help, we felt right at home and loved feeding the sheep in the morning!

Loved our stay at Ros’ place. Very cosy, all the basics provided! Ros went above and beyond leaving a small toy at the property for our pooch. Very dog friendly!

If we were to stay in Hobart again, staying here would be a no brainer. The home is a delight and the location is perfect for getting around the town. Lots of cute little cafes and restaurants a stones throw away whilst maintaining the charm of an inner city suburb. Everything from check-in to check-out went very smoothly. Thank you to our host Kat for the very prompt and clear communication. I can't recommend the Milkman's Cottage enough.

We loved our time at Stewart’s Bay Beach house. The view is amazing; it’s great to have the beach so close. Shops and local attractions are within a 10-min walk. The house is also well appointed. We’ll be back!

What an amazing place to stay 10 out of 10. One of the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at the property is riding the border and the Photos don’t do it justice. I highly suggest you book yourself five nights. Stay isn’t enough.😍

Lois' little cottage was fantastic. Loved the interior, very comfortable and cosy. Short distance to supermarkets and eateries and an easy walk to CBD.

Great location for family or friends to get together. Literally walk out the door onto a beautiful beach. Plenty of outdoor amenities available incl swimming pool, tennis, basketball hoop, billiards, kayaks etc. Quiet and peaceful area, but close to airport and to Hobart so very convenient. Great communication from Julie in advance who also met us on arrival and showed us in. Thank you for a great stay.

We stayed for 3 nights and it was great. The location next to the river was beautiful. The cottage contained everything we could wish for and was very comfortable.

Jodi and Lindsay were fantastic hosts. Their lovely unit was in a great location and even had a wonderful café on the corner for our morning coffee. We were lucky to stay during the Dark Mofo Festival and Jodi offered great suggestions on different exhibitions to see and events to attend. Thank you Jodi and Lindsay!

Jodi's apartment is at the best location, vrry close to a great cafe, grocery stores, bus stop and moonah shops. Best thing is private car parking which is hard to find with other air bnb places. You can view beautiful mount Wellington from the bedrooms, and living room gets cozy by sunshine during the day. Jodi was kind enough to give us quick tour of the house on checking-in, and also let us stay an extra hour before checking out. Thank you Jodi for letting us stay at your lovely place.

Very spacious property with plenty of towels, bedding, kitchen & laundry amenities and comfort during our stay. The view is spectacular and we were very happy with the heating for our winter stay. Very close to the ferry terminal and lovely pub, cafes and supermarkets close by.
