To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 12 min drive, to Hafjell (OL 1994/Hunderfossen Adventure Park) 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 min. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen/2 towels per guest can be rented, must be pre-booked - price € 30 per set, or you can bring your own. There are many hiking opportunities at Golsfjellet both winter and summer, ski slopes and nice bike paths. It takes about 25 minutes to Hemsedal with Norway's largest alpine resort, restaurants and High and Low climbing park. The nearest grocery store is Joker Robru about 10 minutes from the cabin.

Short distance to the Birkebeineren Ski Stadium, which offers an extensive network of hiking trails and cross-country skiing tracks. 15-min drive to Nordseter, about 20 minutes to Sjusjøen, both with excellent trails for hiking and skiing. The ski jumping hill is 3-minute drive from the cabin and offers a great view. 5-min drive to grocery store. For alpine skiing, Hafjell is 25 min away, and Kvitfjell is about 1 hour.
