Come and recharge your batteries in a breathtaking setting, a peaceful atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the cities, facing the peak of Calabasse and the Mail de Bulard. Arrival on foot in 10 minutes by a pretty path through the woods.

Welcome to Le Playras, a Shangri-la in the Pyrenees, a secret nest formed by a group of traditional and authentic mountain shepherd huts sitting at 1.100m altitude! A paradise for mountain hikers and nature lovers. The trail around the Biros valley (tour du Biros) passes in front of the door. You can hike right away from home and get on foot onto a network of trails connecting to the GR.10 and the Spanish border. Jump in cold waterfalls and streams or go for mushroom or blueberry picking.

Le Playras, a little piece of heaven!

Welcome to Playras! Come and recharge your batteries in this tiny hamlet, a little piece of heaven perched at 1100 m altitude, facing south. Stunning views of the Spanish border chain. This hamlet is made up of about fifteen old barns, each more beautiful than the last, giving it an indefinable charm! The GR de Pays (Tour du Biros) passes in front of our house. Multiple hikes possible without taking your car. We'll be happy to let you know!

A charming, studio flat in the heart of the Pyrenees in the beautiful village of Arrout. A light and airy room in a 18th century barn conversion with a newly fitted kitchen. You have your own entrance and a private bathroom . French windows open onto a little patio and garden and views of the woods and there are beautiful views of the mountains (and snow) from the garden and village. We live next door in the main house. Located in the hamlet of Orchein, in the typical village of Galey, in the Ariégeoises Pyrenees Regional Nature Park, our gîte will welcome you for a relaxing stay. It has outdoor access (unfenced) with a sheltered terrace. It is located in a village, which includes many hiking trails. Comfortable, warm, with stunning views of the Couserans mountains, this is the perfect place to recharge and explore the surroundings.

Quiet accommodation with small unfenced private garden, sun loungers, table and chairs to enjoy the outdoors with mountain views. Bedroom overlooking a balcony equipped with a sofa and armchairs. We're in the way from the Pyrenean passes that leads to Bagnères de Luchon. We would love to host you in our mountains. IMPORTANT: Be sure to contact me before making or confirming a reservation. Regarding access, the house is at the end of a 7 km track. The first 5 km are suitable for vehicles, and the last 2 km are not suitable for vehicles. So you'll have to walk the last 2 km, about 40 minutes. Guests can park their car safely in a clearing.
