The accommodation is in the Casita, a little guesthouse set among orange trees, close to the swimming pool. It comprises a living room with kitchenette, dining area and sofabed. The bedroom sleeps 2 guests configurable as double or twin. Bathroom with shower. Patio doors open to a terrace. Air con/heating & wifi. No infants. No children under 8 when pool open (Mar-Nov).

Very quiet and peaceful with stunning views and birdsong. Well positioned and designed to keep cool through summer. Use of host's pool and garden next door. Easy access to mountain walks. Tom and Dena's stone built cottage is a beautiful home with fantastic views overlooking surrounding mountains and valleys. The rural location provides a great opportunity for genuine relaxation within the peaceful natural surroundings. There is also plenty to explore in the local area, with many of the nearby white-washed villages having excellent restaurant and cafe options. For those that like walking or mountain running, there are plenty of good options, especially for those that enjoy hill climbs. We also found plenty of good, remote beaches within a 40 minute drive. Although there are many things to do in the local area, we enjoyed spending time at the homely cottage and would highly recommend booking a stay. Tom and Dena were very welcoming and provided many great suggestions for places to visits or things to do during our week long stay.

We felt very comfortable in the small, quiet paradise just outside Orgiva and could relax very well. The house and pool are great. Everything well organized, communication is reliable and Antonio on site was very friendly. In Orgiva there are plenty of shopping and nice restaurants. The sea, Granada and the Sierra are not far away, so you can also quickly make a nice trip. If you are looking for peace and quiet and still want to experience something occasionally, this is the place... In any case, we enjoyed it very much.

Cortijo El Nuevo Olivo

Our 4 week stay was very relaxed and peaceful. The cortijo is rustic as one would expect but it has everything you need, loads of space and plenty of storage. The washing machine and line outside were a great help. The private garden( with orange, lemon and olive trees) and pool made it very special. The sky was an abundance of stars every night. The patio area is super for dining, surrounded by greenery. José was attentive, friendly and kind - for example, leaving lemons freshly picked from the garden. He was also very relaxed. His asador ( Argentinian barbecue) was absolutely SUPERB - not to be missed! There is a fantastic restaurant a 3 min. walk from the cortijo, the supermarket is a 5 minute drive away. The villages of the Alpujarra are utterly stunning and well worth visiting particularly Cañar, Pampeleria, Capileria and Trevelez. They have plenty of restaurants to choose from. It is easy to get to a beach as well as Granada. We had a really beautiful stay. Thank you J̌osé

Ravashan was an amazing host. Responsive, helpful and offered great advice. We loved our stay. The views are amazing and we had a lovely relaxing stay. We used the pool every day and the kids loved it. We got some pre-marinated chicken and also some organic burgers from the local oegiva halal shop and had a lovely bbq too. We look forward to coming back!
