The bedroom sleeps 2 guests configurable as double or twin. Bathroom with shower. Patio doors open to a terrace. Air con/heating & wifi. No infants. No children under 8 when pool open (Mar-Nov).

A beautiful air conditioned apartment set above the village in the oldest part of town. Only a few minutes walk to shops, cafes and restaurants. Very quiet and peaceful with stunning views and birdsong. Well positioned and designed to keep cool through summer. Use of host's pool and garden next door. Easy access to mountain walks. 2 rooms: a 4 persons bedroom with individual beds, which can be put together on request. This room has a en suite bathroom. The other room has a double bed. Another bathroom in the hall. Two living rooms and a fully equipped kitchen complete the interior part. Outside you can relax in a very nice garden with terrace and private salted swimming pool (less than 10% of salt compared with sea water and no chemicals).

Tom and Dena's stone built cottage is a beautiful home with fantastic views overlooking surrounding mountains and valleys. The rural location provides a great opportunity for genuine relaxation within the peaceful natural surroundings. There is also plenty to explore in the local area, with many of the nearby white-washed villages having excellent restaurant and cafe options. For those that like walking or mountain running, there are plenty of good options, especially for those that enjoy hill climbs. We also found plenty of good, remote beaches within a 40 minute drive. Although there are many things to do in the local area, we enjoyed spending time at the homely cottage and would highly recommend booking a stay. Tom and Dena were very welcoming and provided many great suggestions for places to visits or things to do during our week long stay.

Wir haben uns in dem kleinen, ruhigen Paradies etwas außerhalb von Orgiva sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten uns sehr gut erholen. Haus und Pool sind toll. Alles gut organisiert, Kommunikation ist zuverlässig und Antonio vor Ort war sehr freundlich. In Orgiva gibt es genügend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und nette Restaurants. Das Meer, Granada und die Sierra sind nicht weit weg, so kann man auch schnell mal einen schönen Ausflug machen. Wer Ruhe sucht und trotzdem mal gelegentlich was erleben will ist hier richtig... Uns hat es jedenfalls sehr gut gefallen.

Casa Bayacas is a dream. It was an absolute privilege to call this place our home for a fortnight. Surrounded by mountains and nature, the sound of running water (at night the bedroom is therefore lovely and cool), the crickets, the incredible views from the lovely pool... we couldn't have wished for a finer place. Cris and Yvonne have created a little paradise with respect and love for nature. The house is lovely with a great balcony overlooking the mountains and the valley. In the area there is so much to do and discover; of course Granada and the beautiful Alhambra, the sea (found plenty of beautiful spots where it was lovely and quiet ), endless hiking in the mountains, beautiful villages to wander around.... Yvonne is a fantastic hostess, very helpful, attentive (delicious eggs from the chickens) and very sweet. For her alone we would come back again and we certainly will.

We hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf! We verbleven in het bovenste deel van het huis met 2 balkons met prachtig uitzicht! De ruimte was schoon. De tuin en het zwembad kan gedeeld worden met anderen maar pas de laatste dag kwamen er andere gasten in het verblijf onder ons. Je kunt elkaar dan wel horen maar er is in de tuin genoeg plaats om een rustig plekje te vinden. De tuin is prachtig met verschillende soorten fruitbomen rn bloemen. Echt geweldig! Ook het zwembad was heerlijk en schoon! De communicatie verliep heel goed en snel!

Idyllic few days in a beautifully renovated cottage. Mara was welcoming and helpful, the cottage had everything we needed (including a very friendly cat) and was the perfect place for a long weekend of rest and relaxation.
