The bothy- peaceful country life near the sea

The bothy is a beautiful newly converted farm building located on the east mainland of Orkney. The property is in the countryside, surrounded by farmland and just along the road from one of several wonderful beaches in Deerness. Should you need any items for a baby like a carrier (any age), seat, snuzpod, cot/ cotbed, highchair, etc. Please let us know prior to your arrival, along with the age of the baby/toddler. We also have a 4 bedroom house next door should you need a bigger accommodation

Langwell Bothy

Langwell Bothy has two rooms with vestibule entrance where modest coffee/tea bar is set up. There is a microwave, kettle, toaster and small refrigerator, including a sink, NO COOKER. Main bedroom has view over to Hoy island. The second room has a double bed/couch. (If 2 guests & need 2 beds, please message this) There is a shower room/toilet/sink (wet room) accessible only from the second room. The second room has two views over looking the main house garden and views towards Stromness.

Constructed in 2021 it has been purpose built to the highest modern standards. Conveniently situated, Skeir a Lidda is easy to get to and is a perfect base from which to explore the islands.
