There is little light pollution here, which makes the place particularly well suited for experiencing the northern lights on clear winter evenings. The house is located on a small hill, with views in all directions – towards the sea, the mountains and the open landscape around. Here, it's a short distance to most places – museums, galleries, cafes and shops. Good starting point for swimming, short/long mountain trips, climbing and bouldering, as well as cross-country skiing and alpine skiing in winter.

Use this as your base if you're going skiing. Shops and restaurants are 5 minutes away by car. Museum and the aquarium are 2 km away. Have your base here and drive around and enjoy all the wonderful things Lofoten has to offer in terms of nature and food experiences.

Great area for hiking for both young and old. Great beach at Kalle and Rørvik. Hiking area within walking distance. Silsand (beach) and lean-to. The lean-to is located between Ørsnes and Hopen. Kayaks can be rented if experienced or with lidence. The house from the 19th century and was an active merchant area with steamboat harbor, postoffice, and market. Renovated with new bathroom. The sauna has amazing views of the sea and mountains. Charger for electric or plug-in car is available.

Welcome to Lofoten Arctic Lodge (no. 14) in Lofoten! A modern 103 m² lodge where comfort meets the wild beauty of Lofoten. They are close to everything Lofoten has to offer, such as mountain hikes, beaches, ski slopes, fishing villages, cute cafes, galleries, museums and so much more.
