From the location, the views, the well appointed kitchen, the mini split, the fun decor and engaging book collection, the cleanliness, etc. Simona was an ideal host: communicative and helpful. Visiting charming Ovieto was made even more so with our stay in Milva’s Nest. Grazie mille, Simona!

Ilva was so sweet to arrange to hold a free parking space for us and provided very clear driving instructions as a local road was closed. The apartment was just as pictured and spacious enough for our family of three. The town is a short walk away and worth spending a day or two!

This place is amazing! It was a competely unique experience staying in Anna's place. The private garden up the hill afforded gorgeous views of the historic tower and town that turned magical at night when everything was lit up. When we explored the town at night, we felt like we had gone back in time. There were motion sensor lights on the stairs to and from the garden so that we could easily and safely see our way. We had the historic part of the nicely lit up town at night to ourselves, adding to the atmosphere. Civitella D'agliano was our favourite of the many towns that we explored in the area. It is a genuine and evocative beauty, not marred by masses of tourists or souvenir shops. Anna and her English speaking friend, met our car to show us where to park, and showed us everything in the apartment and garden in detail. Anna gave us many delicious snacks and an apple cake. She also arranged a reservation at a local restaurant that was memorable. Stay here. You will never forget it!

The house is new, elegant and clean (even more beautiful than it appears in the photos). It is surrounded by greenery, a 10-15 minute drive from the center of Orvieto, very convenient to reach. We had a great time!
