Monthly Rentals in Osprey

This was my second time staying at Mattie’s cottage. I’m sure I’ll stay here again. The neighborhood is walkable and safe. The cottage is close to beaches, restaurants, shopping, and my favorite the bike trail. The hosts are friendly and welcoming.

If you love 'Old Florida' and love to walk or bike, this is the place. My husband and I stayed Feb/March 25. The neighborhood is lovely with lots of walking areas, nice pools and friendly people. The condo is a bit older, not extremely plush but it is quite accommodating and comfortable. It has all you'll need including supplies, comfortable furniture, one good size tv, a complete kitchen and extras such as games, books, towels, etc. The architecture is very interesting with high ceilings and windows. Friends stayed a few times and loved it as well. We had daily walks, going past Blackburn park, watching boats and fishing then to Casey Key with beautiful views of the ocean! Many beaches are in close proximity including, Nokomis, Venice, Manasota Key and Siesta Key! We spent a lot of time at the beaches, shark tooth hunting! Many near stores, fun festivals, music and restaurants! I can't say enough about how we fell in love with Osprey, definitely loved our stay and hope to be back!

The house was just as amazing as the pictures illustrate! We didn’t have any issues during our stay and would definitely book again.

My sister and I stayed here for a week and everything was just perfect. Such a beautiful space, both inside and out. The beds were super comfy and each bedroom has its own mini split, plus a ceiling fan, I slept so well! And we hung out with coffee at the kitchen island every morning, and on the sofa every night. There are 2 outdoor spaces, one has lounge chairs and the other is for dining (with a pretty serious barbecue). Off street parking, a nicely equipped kitchen...so many thoughtful touches, really everything you might need to make yourself at home. Very kind & helpful owners. I took a nice long walk every morning and saw people out with their dogs, or biking — it’s a very relaxed and low key neighborhood. The Selby Gardens Spanish Point annex is maybe a mile away, and is 100% worth a visit, Nokomis Beach is really nice (and also close by). I feel like this is a hidden gem (probably not hidden for long though)!
