Romantic and historic hideaway in French Pyrenees

This magnificent former Shepherd's Lodge, with origins dating back to 1891, dominates its hillside with views of the mountain peaks and its lush valley with meandering river below. Located less than 30 mintues from the town of Nay where everything is available and an hour from the cities of Pau, Lourdes and Tarbes. This lovely home is at the foot of the Pyrenees ski resorts with all the activities they offer, biking, hiking, climbing, canyoning, horse riding to name a few.

It is a small, quiet accommodation, ideally located for your hiking trips, to enjoy nature and relax. Upstairs, mezzanine with 2 mattresses of 90 cm each, the little extra when opening the shutters: nice mountain views. On the ground floor you will find a small living room with sofa convertible into a bed (ideal for a child only) kitchenette, Bathroom Breakfast and evening meals on request. Chalet of the Issaux Forest No. 3: the mountaineer

Here you will not find television, no state-of-the-art technology but the sound of the wind in the trees, the singing of birds, the ringing of the bells of the herds in summer... In the middle of the mountains, in the beautiful forest of Issaux, we have 3 chalets, spaced apart from each other, in the heart of a green and calm clearing. From 1 to 6 people, sheets and towels provided (in July and August only sheets are provided). Firewood included.
