Experience lovely nature at cozy farmhouse! The cabin is located by itself on the edge of the forest overlooking the whole of Østre Gausdal. Lots of hiking opportunities in both summer and winter right from the door. About 1 km skiing through the forest to the trail network to Skeikampen. The cabin sleeps 5, plus crib, equipped kitchen, heat pump, wood-burning stove and dishwasher and washing machine. Bed linen and towels incl. Must have 4x4 in winter. 15 min to city center and Skeikampen, 30 min to Lillehammer and 45 min to Hunderfossen.

The houses on the farm are primarily from the 1700s and 1800s. The farm is located on the sunny side in Østre Gausdal, with a great view of the village. Short distance to Skei and Lillehammer. Beautifully situated log cabin 10 minutes by car from the centre of Lillehammer. There is a short distance to the Birkebeineren ski stadium which has a large network of hiking trails. 15 minutes drive to Nordseter and about 20 minutes drive to Sjusjøen with great hiking trails and ski slopes. Hoppbakken is only 3 minutes drive from the cabin with great views of the city. 5 minutes by car to the nearest grocery store. For alpine skiing you have Hafjell which is 25 minutes away and Kvitfjell 1 hour away.

Simple cabin located 1100 meters above sea level in Valdres. It's at the top of the Kjølastølen hamlet and is perfect for one or two people who want a place to base for mountain activities. One room with sofa bed, table, kitchen counter with cooker. Heating with propane heater. The cabin has a sink with no running water, but it works for morning care etc with drains out of the cabin. There is no toilet, but guests can use the latrine 30m from the cabin. Toll Road (70 NOK) with private parking

Driving distance from Oslo is 210 kilometers / 2h 25m / from the airport about 2 hours In winter, you can go straight out on ski slopes that are connected to an extensive trail network.

Walking distance to the river Lågen, for swimming and fishing, walking trails, and short distance to the Øyer mountains known for the many cross country ski tracks in the winter, and mountain bike and hiking trails in the summer.

The farm is located about 7 km from the center of Lillehammer(not walking distance)with a great view of Lillehammer. The apartment is on the top floor of the main house and contains 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 bedroom with bunk bed, 1 bathroom, well-equipped kitchen, dining room with sleeping alcove and a large living room where some space can be converted into a sleeping alcove. There are opportunities to make use of the garden and outdoor area.

Garden House in the Middle of Town

Our garden house has a plain Norwegian cabin standard with everything you need for making simple meals. Some basic food supplies will be available. As we have no running water in the garden house, we have placed a water dispenser in the kitchen area. Your bathroom, with floor heating and shower, is situated right next door, in the main house. The garden house has its own terrace, with access to the garden.
