We have a fridge, oven range, IH stove, coffee tools for coffee lovers, and a toaster that is very popular with bread lovers, so you can enjoy your stay in elegance. This house is located on the quiet seaside of Shodoshima Town. It is a house built just to watch the sunset over the sea. Unfortunately, we have a lot of stairs on the terrace, so it's not barrier free. (I will do my best to help with your luggage, etc.) However, at the top of the high terrace, the calm and beautiful sea of Setouchi, sparkling with sunlight, and the changing faces of the crimson sunset await you every day. Please enjoy an extraordinary time and forget about the time. You enter the room by climbing the terrace stairs. It is not barrier free. Please be sure to have an adult accompany you when going up and down stairs with small children. Also, there are many stairs on rainy days, so it may be inconvenient. Also, the road in front of the inn is not paved. Please note that this may cause some inconvenience. There are many insects because there is a lot of nature around the house. Insects may enter when windows or doors are opened or closed. (Especially at night, insects are attracted to the lights in the house) I'm very sorry, but if you don't like insects, please refrain from staying. There is currently construction going on next door, and it may be noisy.

We can arrange a restaurant booking for dinner as needed basis. *Staff will meet up to check-in and pick-up service is available.

Japanese Potter's Guesthouse - Wasyugama Kiln Stay

Welcome to Wasyugama, a traditional Bizen pottery kiln guesthouse in the peaceful hills near Kurashiki, Okayama. Stay beside an active pottery workshop and experience the quiet charm of rural Japan. Most guests stay 2–3 nights, but longer stays are warmly welcomed. The house, hand-built with natural wood by my father and me, is a private rental with kitchen, bath, and beds for up to 5 guests. Pottery experience available (booking required).

It can accommodate up to 7 people. Basic cooking utensils and condiments are available in the kitchen. Also you can BBQ on the balcony. It is covered, so it's okay even if it rains. (rent a BBQ stove set for 1,500 yen) It's about a 10min walk to the small beach on the island. You may even encounter deer or raccoons around the villa. *Please note that smoking is prohibited inside the villa.
