The cottage is named after a couple of alimoches that nest and raise on the nearby cliffs and are visible from the terrace in summer time. It is located in a small village of Segovia (20 km from the city and 112 km from Madrid) in a spectacular natural environment with plenty of activities available (hiking, cycling, caving, paint ball, quads, horseback riding, fishing, canoeing, climbing). The house was built on an old town from which the basic materials (stone, wood and shingles) were recovered, creating a modern house, but integrated and respectful of traditional architecture with spacious spaces of great luxury and comfort. This cottage becomes an exclusive retreat to enjoy nature. On its two floors are arranged for rooms (double and double), bathroom, toilet, dining room, kitchen, terrace and small patio. Ideal for a romantic getaway or to enjoy as a family. Breakfast basket and the following equipment are offered: washer, dryer, heater, fireplace, DVD, stereo, TV, full kit (crib, high chair, bathtub, backpack], dishwasher, microwave, oven, shower with large sprinkler, library, area documentation, board games. Other services available: bike rental, binoculars, car rental, guided tours in the natural environment, catering service [suckling pig, roasted suckling pig].

We had many problems with guests making noise and upsetting the neighbours. NO PARTIES. NO NOISE AFTER 10.30pm. NO SMOKING INSIDE. We had a wonderful stay! This is a thoughtfully designed, bright, spotlessly clean apartment, surrounded by leafy trees. The location is perfect - in a great neighborhood, walkable to all of the central destinations (museums, restaurants, etc.) and very close to the Lavapies metro if you want to go further afield. If you are a runner, this is an ideal spot - it is a 7-minute run to El Retiro, a lovely large park with many nice trails for running. Omayra was a very welcoming and responsive host. The street below has several lively cafes and bars so there is some noise at night with the windows open. This was not a problem for us as the noise was just people chatting (not too loud or disruptive) and we live in the middle of the city so we are used to many sounds at night. Highly recommended - a charming apartment in an ideal location with a great host!

Carla can't be a better host, and the house is spectacular. Highly recommended. Ojo, you have to be careful with the routes to get that goes google, it tends to take you along tractor roads.
