Private suite holiday rentals in Ottawa

Absolutely beautiful. The hosts cared very much for the location and the needs and preferences of the guests. The unit is a 2nd floor stair-access location so may not be suitable for those with mobility limitations, but from the moment you open the door, you immediately feel a sense of “I could live here.” The decor was home-like and inviting, with all kitchen amenities readily available. Every detail was considered: from a spare umbrella at the coat-rack, to coffee-maker with supplies, to mixing bowls in the cupboards. Tucked underneath the TV was a collection of books with something to appeal to all ages and interests; and when that wasn’t enough, there was a deck of cards at hand — perfect for a rainy day. At night the neighbourhood is quiet and still, interrupted only by the early morning chirp of birds. The hosts were as engaged or discreet as a guest might desire and readily adapted to your needs. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank-you Josseline!

Perfect little spot that was super walkable: 25 minute walk from Carleton, 20 minute walk to the grocery store, river walk right out the door, and many shops, cafes, and restaurants close walkable as well. Quick to get a Lyft to the airport. Loved the bathtub.

Elcho's guest suite was a perfect retreat! My stay was short but it would be perfect for anyone who is in town for a week and/or is on a working holiday. Make sure to take a walk in Strathcona Park, it's a beautiful spot!

I had a wonderful stay at Elcho and Dan's place, the room was great and I really appreciated the feeling of intimacy given by the curtain separating the space from the rest of the house. Elcho was very helpful when I needed some information, and very responsive as well. It is well located, at a reasonable walking distance from Rideau / Downtown (25-30min) and groceries (15-20min), in a peaceful neighborhood with a beautiful park a few minutes away ! I greatly recommend !

Dana was an amazing Host, responsive and proactive. Made sure we had everything we needed, offered some near attractions and was easy to communicate with. The place has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and has a nice atmosphere around it.

Cute and cosy little place. Very clean, and very close to Byward market. Although small, we were provided all the amenities we needed. Check in was a breeze and Tatyana and Maya were very quick to answers our questions and address our concerns. Will definitely consider staying again on our next trip to Ottawa! P.S. - The coffee was tasty!

This is the second time we have booked Daria’s place. It doesn’t disappoint! The location is perfect-less than a mile to Richmond street for restaurants and shopping. The unit it well designed and comfortable. Highly recommend Daria’s place for any visitors to Ottawa. We will be back!

Mike's place - The Byron Brownstone - is really one of the finest Airbnb's I have stayed at. I am an Ottawa native and love the Westboro area. It was quiet and literally a five minute walk to Richmond Road where there are so many interesting places. Honestly, I wish I had more time. The place was beautiful, clean, spacious, airy, and delightful. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were brand new, kitchen was amazing. Mike was a pleasure to communicate with and I look forward to hopefully staying there again. It was well worth it. An excellent find and all around great place. If you choose it, you will absolutely enjoy it!

This is a very clean, well-designed and comfortablel house in a walkable neighborhood in Ottawa. It is close to walking paths, the canal, restaurants, cafes and lovely gardens. It is in a central location for exploring the city.

This was a great place to stay for our Ottawa trip. It was walkable to quite a few nice places and there are lots of great restaurants that are also within walking distance. Having a private entrance to the basement was lovely and it was very spacious. We really appreciated the clear instructions and the cleanliness of the place. Would definitely book again if I’m back in the city.

Perfect location. My daughter & I stayed with Stephanie for her 21 trip. I picked this Airbnb as our plan was to visit the spa in Chelsea. And so we did.... went back for a second day!!! Absolutely perfect location 10/10. Loved the decor. It was what originally caught my eye! Everything was as posted. Absolutely pristine. Friendly host. Excellent communication. Comfortable bed. Highly recommend. We will be back if it's available.

Caitlin and her family were amazing. We felt right at home the entire time. She was always helpful and responsive. They even went out of their way to help us move in our groceries as they were heavy. We appreciate all their kindness. Their place was spacious and comfortable to stay in and had everything we needed. It was overall a great experience.

Ottawa is now my favorite Canadian city and this apartment is one of my favorite Airbnb stays ever. The bed is comfortable, there's plenty of storage and the rainwater showerhead made for relaxing showers. The hosts are friendly, welcoming and responsive and the decor is bright and modern. Not many cons. The couch is short and firm so not ideal for naps, though I managed, and the kitchen is tiny, but it had everything I needed. The home is well-situated in the charming Little Italy neighborhood. It's close to a wonderful trail that takes you to Ottawa River in one direction and Dow's Lake in the other. And, of course, you're blocks away from some incredible Italian groceries - highly recommend the gelato at Pietro's Corner and fresh pasta and sauces at Parm Fresh. You are a longer walk or a drive from the downtown and major tourist attractions but public transit stops are nearby and I enjoyed a respite from the crowds I highly recommend a stay here.. I'd happily stay there again.
