Susan’s place was clean, well-equipped and pristine. It was indeed a beautiful retreat, complete with hot tub and a pool. Communication with her was always pleasant and accommodating. Everything was well thought-out.

It felt right at home and, worked really great with our getaway trip. Would recommend to stay here.

Our stay at Dave and Bonnie's home was amazing! There was a lot of stuff to do at home itself including hot tub, sauna, jacuzzi, TV etc. They also provide kayaks and bicycles to make the experience more memorable. We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary and they had put up a mini decor for us 😇 All parts of home also had mini notes to help guide you with the small details. Places to eat at walking distance. Dave was super responsive and very kind to us during the trip. Book this place without hesitation!

Staying at Summit Haven was a wonderful experience. We stayed there the night before my wedding day, and used it to get ready in the morning by, and it was everything we needed and more. The property is stunning, the home is beautiful and the hosts are very responsive and accommodating. Ed even took the time in the morning to walk with me around the property and show me all of the good photography spots, while teaching me about the trees, plants and flowers they take such good care of. His hosta collection is stunning all on its own. Karen answered every single question we had immediately, and was very kind. Thank you Karen and Ed for creating such a relaxing and beautiful place that we were able to peacefully get ready at. We will be back!

This was such a beautiful spot, centrally located and in a beautiful neighbourhood near Locke Street. The space was spotless and had everything we needed to feel right at home. It seemed newly renovated and the ceilings were high so it didn’t feel like a basement at all! We loved the area and spent lots of time walking around and enjoying the architecture, shops, and restaurants nearby. We would definitely recommend this space for folks looking to enjoy this lovely Hamilton area with all the comforts of home!

Had a great stay at Sheila's! Sheila was quick to respond and very helpful. the place was clean and bigger than we expected.

What a beautiful space! Couldn’t have asked for a better rental! Peter and Vanessa were so kind and friendly from the moment we arrived! The basketball court in the backyard was a huge hit with our 11 year old! Will for sure be looking into a weekend getaway in Stratford so we can stay again in this beautiful, relaxing space! Deerwood was a lovely stay just a little out of town from Haliburton. Between the fireplace, warm slippers, and little treats, this was a cozy home away from home. Gail was kind and responsive throughout our stay, and we look forward to staying with Gail again in the future.

Darcy place was immaculate, everything you would need was provided. Clean, peaceful and easily accessible to many amenities. Would highly recommend

Me and my boyfriend had a great weekend here! Was very peaceful, about a 10 minute walk to the beach park. It is bug season so we did not stay by the dock too much, and the dock was also very close to the neighbours but was still very peaceful to enjoy our breakfast and coffees. The cottage had everything we needed for the two of us and great amenities.

Great spot. Away from the city just off the highway. The beach and view was much appreciated after a long day on the road. The description is accurate. Will definitely return.

Really enjoyed my short stay on Ward's Island - having the bikes to cycle around the islands was really lovely. Very peaceful with all the amenities I needed! Easy to get the ferry over from Toronto during the week.

My fiance, myself and our dog had such a great time at Paul’s place! It’s right on the water with tons of properly for doggo to explore. Absolutely beautiful scenery with great water amenities and more. Paul was above and beyond as a host - great communication and just overall so friendly and kind. We are hoping to come back for another trip there as we had a fantastic time. Can’t recommend Paul/his place enough!! Thanks again, Paul! :)

Can’t say much more than it’s awesome. My wife and I know the area and have stayed around here before and love its location to Arrowhead and the town of Huntsville. A perfect spot to unwind in the serenity of the forest and quiet. Both Michelle and Cody were super responsive to any questions or requests. Will definitely be back

10/10! We had an absolutely perfect stay at The Huxley! Amber & Peter are truly wonderful superhosts—warm, responsive, and thoughtful, while still giving you total privacy to enjoy the space. The suite itself is beautifully curated with incredible attention to detail, and the setting is peaceful and quiet—an ideal escape. The salt water hot tub was such a treat, and we were touched by the welcome bottle of sparkling wine from one of the county’s fantastic wineries. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back. This place is a gem! I stayed here for a month while my home was being remodelled. I will definitely go back in the summer. Such a great deal for this amazing location, right by the lake and walking distance to the port and restaurants. Larissa is by far the best host I’ve ever encountered. She was extremely kind and welcoming. Every detail you can imagine was taken care of. She also followed up to make sure I was comfortable. I slept on the murphy bed in the main room which gave me a view of the lake. The mattress was great and the bedroom was comfortable as well. I will recommend this place to my friends and family. I just can’t say enough about how wonderful my stay was.

The hosts were great. I was very pleased with the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash on the wall. I had forgotten mine so this worked out beautifully. They have a lovely little manual on how things work in the unit and full renter expectations which was nice. The neighborhood was nice, we felt very safe. The inside of this place was a bachelor's or couples little paradise. The bed is very comfortable and the decor gives it a very homey feel. 100% would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Susan & Craig’s cottage by Rice Lake! The place was peaceful, clean, and beautifully located—perfect for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was getting early access to their lovely pool, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made our trip even more enjoyable. Susan & Craig were kind and responsive hosts, and their attention to detail really showed. Would definitely recommend staying here and hope to visit again!

We had a wonderful stay! Andrew and Jodi were very responsive and allowed us to check in early which was very much appreciated! Close to many wineries (we biked to 5!). Very peaceful and beautiful property with many lovely bird. The place was clean and exactly what we needed for a weekend away :)

Wow. Words honestly fall short when trying to describe this place. The photos don’t even begin to capture the beauty and serenity of this space. My partner and I were completely flabbergasted! it’s just stunning. For me, what made it even more special is that I live fairly close by, so discovering a hidden gem like this right around the corner felt like a dream. Everything the other reviews have said is absolutely true: the attention to detail, the cleanliness, the comfort, the peacefulness … every bit of it exceeded expectations. The suite itself is romantic, cozy, and incredibly well cared for. It’s more than just a place to stay, it’s an experience. If anything, this review is less about critique and more of a genuine thank you. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place with the world. If this listing is available and you’re even thinking about booking it, just do it. You will not regret it, period!

We enjoyed our stay. The back yard was a piece of paradise. We enjoyed the pool and sitting in the outdoor space. The unit was very clean and everything was supplied that you needed in the kitchen area. What a nice family. Thank you for everything. Petra and Lawrence
