Only 2,5km from the town centre of Alkmaar. Our Garden Room was built in 2024 - with the exception of the kitchen - brand new. The kitchen has been upgraded with an electric hob.

This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. The flat was very nice and we appreciated the little extras hidden around the apartment. The parking was a little bit difficult (that may be due to the fact that an event was going on), but everything aside from that was very good. The accommodation was also perfect for our two dogs.

Linda was a very friendly host who always responded quickly to messages! It was noticed that she put a lot of effort into furnishing the apartment. The apartment is very quaint and cozy. You couldn't live more centrally in Alkmaar: shops, restaurants, etc. can be reached in less than 2 minutes. Unfortunately, the church tower clock strikes every quarter of an hour at night, which was a bit difficult at night. Linda has provided us with earplugs for this. The beds were very cozy for it!
