Villa holiday rentals in Oulu

Mikko`s place was amazing, much more than we expected. I fell in love with the pictures and private location (based on maps analysis) but it was much better than described and the photos, will return!! This was by far the most stocked-up place we have stayed at (linens, kitchen appliances, cuttlery and kitchenware, toiletries, firewood for fireplace etc). All equipment is fairly new and in very good state. You have a panoramic view of the bay, perfect to stay indoors enjoying winter wonderland views and/or working remotely. High-speed internet and smart TV enhanced our evenings by the fireplace. We have also took advantage of the built-in sauna (as part of the house, accessible through the glass patio). Mikko is very kind and friendly, gave lots of suggestions and was forward thinking. He was very welcoming and his cottage made us feel right at home. Easy to communicate, even if sometimes some Google Translate is needed - good luck with learning English, Mikko, you are doing great!

Thanks to the host family for the time in their beautiful house. It is really very big and offers plenty of space. We used the sauna inside and out every day. The communication with the host family was perfect at all times. We all felt very comfortable here and thank you also for the beautifully decorated Christmas tree.

Everything went as expected :) The stay was super well-equipped and there was plenty of room for 9 people for one night. I can recommend!

My funniest and most casual Airbnb stay so far! This is not a polished and polished place to stay, but a shabby and relaxed one. Authentic and cozy. The house is equipped with two saunas. I tried the electric sauna inside, and it gave really hot steam. The sound system was excellent, and you could play in peace at a volume that did not disturb the neighbors. I don't think it can be heard by the neighbors at all. There was even a karaoke machine, but I didn't have time to try it. There would have been all kinds of two- and four-wheeled motorized vehicles and a boat. The only thing missing was an airplane. I borrowed a bicycle, and it was convenient to get around until I got it out of order. Nevertheless, the host was not nervous, but stated that the bike was old, as it was. This is an excellent accommodation for a vacationer in this area, which can accommodate several people!

We had a great time at Villa Jäkälä. The house has a very nice design and the surroundings are quiet and beautiful. The host was very helpful and friendly.

The house was great! We had a great time! Everything worked perfectly, the sauna was nice and we had pleasant saunas, the facilities were great and functional, the coffee was wonderful. The house was a walking distance from the university, where we were at a conference with a larger group. Buses were a very good way to get to the center quickly. Communicating with Tarja was easy and pleasant. Thank you very much for a successful week! ❤️

Fantastic property with everything you need to enjoy the house and its surroundings. The sauna is wonderful, and the house and kitchen are equipped with all the necessary utensils. Kaisa, our host, was always available and attentive. We spent Christmas there as a family and had an amazing time!

Comfortable little cottage. Very suitable for 2 people and a dog. If you want peace and independence, I recommend. The outdoor sauna was good. The hot water system only worked moderately, so there was no “hot” water.
