We really enjoyed our 1 night stay here en route through Spain. The staff were so accommodating and lovely. Nothing was too much bother. The food was lovely and they were so accepting and accommodating with our Ridgeback Delilah. We would definitely return if we do the road trip again.

Great house with garden, one step away from the city, in the mountains. The hosts are charming and attentive from before arrival, offering very useful information, until the end. They care about solving any minor inconvenience that may arise and about renewing and completing the details of the house. We had a fantastic few days

We were a family of three generations with 4 children, 8 and under. We all had a wonderful, relaxing time. The large, spectacular pool was ideal for adults and children and the small shallow area allowed the youngest children to play safely. The veranda provided welcome shade for breakfast and lunch and a magical setting to dine, overlooking the illuminated pool and garden on balmy evenings. The house was spacious and well equipped, including a large barbecue in the garden, and the air-conditioning was effective. Ana was welcoming and responded quickly to any requests. Temperatures reached the high 30s most days, but we avoided the mid afternoon heat and took full advantage of the warm evenings. Castro del Rio is very different from the coastal tourist hotspots but has several restaurants, a couple of supermarkets and a picturesque centre around the castle. Cordoba and large supermarkets are a short drive away. We would love to return!

A charming house, spacious facilities, and a large swimming pool for spending a few days relaxing as a family. We have had a great time and hope to do it again.

A good house also for a longer stay. From the village you can reach Cordoba in 20 minutes; Seville, Granada, etc. are about the same distance (just under 2 hours). The house is cozy, especially for a larger group, several lounges. The pool was cleaned and refilled daily and Enrique was very kind and ready for individual requests more towels, delayed departure).

A very good area for vacationing

Simply put, we spent a few days in the paradise. The accommodation is an ideal place in the middle of nature to disconnect, but very close to the City. Totally recommended. Gregorio a super host.

David from the beginning to the end I take care that we were at home. The place is in a rural setting, without any danger, ideal for families with children and pets. Note that the accommodation was clean and with everything you need for a coexistence of 10. Let's repeat!

The house is very nice, spacious and comfortable rooms, all with its bathroom. Spacious kitchen with lots of utensils. Very manicured decor. The terrace with the bbq grill is appreciated. To put some sticks, a wider living/dining room would be missing, it's a bit fair.

We had a lovely stay at Laura's place. Teresa was fantastic at responding to any queries that we had and was super helpful with local recommendations. The property was ideal for a small group of friends to enjoy. The surroundings were amazing and extremely peaceful.

The stay at Manuel's went very well. The house lived up to our expectations and the small inconveniences were handled quickly and professionally by Alphonsina. Although it is a little difficult to get to the house, it is completely worth it. Both Óscar and his entire team have been very attentive to all our questions and requests at all times. They were very flexible with the arrival and departure and were always very kind. The house has everything you need to spend a great few days. It is also equipped with a gas barbecue that works perfectly, and that allows its safe use even in the season when you can not make fire with wood or charcoal. In addition, they didn't give us any problems to take our German shepherd. If you are looking for a house to spend a few days with friends or family in a beautiful, quiet and charming environment, this is a very good option.

It was a fantastic stay with our group of friends at the beautiful location! We felt very welcome partly because of the good communication and useful tips about the house and the area. extraordinary destination to visit Jaen!! house very suitable for 8 people, we have really enjoyed the house and its wonderful outdoor areas, Carmen is a charm!!

Private villa to relax! We went in winter but still amazing setting just not warm enough to enjoy the pool. Alcaudette is a great town with lots of shops and places to eat and drink, but a ride out gets into mountains and olive trees, car a must, but happily spend the time chilling on the terrace. Hope to go back soon as we have friends living locally
