Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Ouray

This home was so lovely and spacious. My three grandkids and I really enjoyed staying there . There were such nice touches; a bottle of homemade wine from the host, water by the bedside, coffee and creamer. We enjoyed our stay so much we decided to make it an annual event.

Most beautiful view and peaceful surroundings! We love working with Madison and have stayed here twice. Home has everything you need and more! Great for families!

Michelle's place was beautiful and comfortable...and so well-suited for our group. Everyone had plenty of places to gather as well as privacy when needed. Backyard was beautiful as well!

The house was clean, so cute, and had everything we needed. It was exactly what we were looking for, and communication was wonderful. We would love to come back!

Peaceful and comfortable, it was a perfect stay for a relaxing weekend exploring the West Elks area.

Felt right at home. Had everything from the Mountain View’s, bright night sky, peace and quiet, what else could you ask for? I really needed this escape from the city and Texas in general. Rejuvenated my mental state for sure. Really want to move to Colorado and after this trip, I will consider more options to make it happen.

Elevated living was the perfect stay for 6 adults. The views were spectacular and the property is beautifully decorated inside. The fire pit sat 6 and the kitchen was well stocked… We cooked dinner in every night. Centrally located for what we wanted to do in the area.

My girlfriend and I loved our stay at Kristen’s condo! I personally think it’s even nicer in person than what they’re able to depict in the pictures. The area was gorgeous, peaceful, and comfy. The club property that it’s in also has so much to it; we took advantage of the gym, got some gelato from one of the restaurants, and took a walk on the huge property. It was a little chilly in the apartment when we went (but not terribly so / winter conditions) and so it was a little confusing figuring out how to get the bedroom specifically comfortable temp wise for us. There’s a lot of blankets to use that solved the situation for us though. The bed was also very comfy! But everything else was great!

Thomas was a great host. When his 2 bedroom unit was unavailable, he generously offered his beautiful 4 bedroom unit for our stay. Everything was better than described. Unbelievable views and easy access to skiing

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Tori’s loft. It was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The bed was super comfortable. Our dogs appreciated the pads on the stairs for their paws. Location felt peaceful and secluded, yet was a few minutes away from Main Street. We would definitely stay again!

This is the best place to stay at Purgatory Resort. Ski-in Ski-out is an understatement. Literally, skied right to ski lift. I would recommend staying here every trip to Purgatory Resort. Kris is always helpful in every aspect.

My girlfriend and i really enjoyed our stay here, it was extremely peaceful and relaxing. The outdoor kitchen area was a great place to spend some time together and the hot tub was much needed!

BEAUTIFUL VIEWS EVERYWHERE WE WENT! Even our morning coffee and breakfast views from the windows was incredible! All of my friends back home were envious of our stay! I selected that I felt like home but it felt more like a family stay! A warm dessert was waiting for us when we arrived! The place was very nicely updated and perfect for our stay! She gave us fishing tips from her husband, and all the local places to go! We walked her suggestion up to Lake Eileen! It was A HIKE! but beyond beautiful! We loved every part of our stay! Susan's place was well stocked. Our dog enjoyed the property as it was grassy and large. A fenced front yard with a security gate afforded us a secure stay. We were given a list of attractions to see and local restaurants that were their favorites. The beds and furniture were comfortable. The location went extremely well for our activities being close proximity to the university. Susan and Pat are great people and went out of their way to provide what we needed. We stayed four nights, and their price for the place was a lot less expensive than any three star motel, and it came with all the amenities of our home.

The quintessential cabin experience! Perfectly cozy, very well equipped, and clean. There was still some snow on the ground so it felt like we had the whole world to ourselves. Can’t wait to stay again!

Description was spot on and this is definitely a place to get away and relax. Amazing opportunities for stargazing and relaxing by the fire. Also, the location makes for a convenient home base to explore Ouray, Telluride, etc. We would stay again if we were to come back to the area in the future!

We totally enjoyed our stay at Bear's Den. It is everything we usually look for in a place to stay. Beautiful location. CLEAN. Well maintained. And allowed our pups to stay with us. It was a little small for the 6 of us....but overall worked out well. The back deck was my favorite and we enjoyed eating and relaxing on the deck. The nearby lake was really fun to take a rental boat and explore. We also visited Mesa Verde and took the grandchildren on the Durango Silverton train. We would highly recommend Bear's Den. Beautiful and cozy cabin, I will recommend to anyone visiting the area. The cabin was clean and had everything you could think of accessible if needed. Anne was very responsive and great with communication. We really enjoyed our stay!

Lovely cabin by the river and close to Ouray for hiking and the springs.

We had a wonderful winter time stay. The cabin was incredibly well stocked which made the snow-machine access only so easy and less stressful. very comfy and cozy. I don't have a single recommendation on how it could be improved. hope to have the opportunity to stay again!

My family loved our days tucked in this cozy cabin in the mountains. We enjoyed hikes nearby. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was friendly and quiet. We grilled and enjoyed the yard, including daily visits from deer!

Absolutely wonderful find!!! Elk! Deer! Super quiet and peaceful surroundings. The house had everything needed to cook wonderful meals. The couch was fantastic for lounging on while enjoying the wood burning stove. If you’re looking for a place that is close to town, this will not be your place. It takes close to an hour to get to Montrose. Be sure to get all of your groceries and supplies before heading to the cabin. If you’re looking for solitude, you found the holy grail! I’d, absolutely, stay here again!!!!
