Holiday rentals with lake access in Painesville Township

Kristen's place was spotless and well stocked. I would highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway. The views were great and we had access to all of the amenities we could possibly need. We enjoyed being able to go fishing off the dock and exploring the nature preserves nearby. We had wonderful weekend and are looking forward to planning a return trip!

The house was lovely. It was very clean and nicely designed. Everything you needed to cook, make coffee, or just comfortably hang out at the house was provided. The beds were comfortable as well. It was located very close to the lake so you could easily make your way down to the beach. The host offered a bottle of wine before arrival. I would definitely stay at this location again.

An Excellent Stay! This is a dog lovers dream. The home is so cute and it was so easy to find the things we needed in e wry way! The home is up the hill from the lake, down the road from Geneva On The Lake. Surrounded by great golfing, and covered bridges! We loved hiking The Greenway every other day and the backyard was so much fun for our beagle. Lastly, the strawberries in the backyard made breakfast DELICIOUS!

Deann was an excellent host! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as advertised. Check-in was easy, and Deann was super responsive and helpful with local recommendations. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, and everything we needed was right there. Would definitely stay at Deann’s place again—highly recommend!

LOVED this house! Someone with a degree in interior design must’ve been involved in the decorating bc it looked like something out of a magazine. And the view was absolutely stunning. Also, as a mom with small children, I loved how we were right on the water but high enough up from it that I didn’t have to worry about my kids walking into it while playing outside. I also loved the location of this house. We were right in between Ashtabula and Geneva on the Lake so it was a little more peaceful than being right in the middle of GOTL. My family preferred Ashtabula anyways as it had more of that quaint old town charm. The house also had great storage which may sound funny, but I love to unpack and really settle into the home. It seems like so many places don’t provide that anymore. Anyways, I would totally stay here again!

Rose Beach Retreat was built in 2023. The cottage was clean, fresh and comfy with modern conveniences ( many outlets, ceiling fans, excellent lighting). The kitchen was well appointed, had new appliances, every small appliance you would need and well stocked with everyday cooking extras. The bedrooms were bright & roomy with each having a large closet. The spacious front front porch provides a great view of Lake Erie and the public beach across the road. Rondeau Provincial Park with its hiking trails and beach is nearby. Erieau is a great place to visit, as well. This is truly a wonderful home, away from home. Molly always communicates quickly. We are already booking for next year.

This Airbnb was a great place for a quick weekend getaway! The area was quiet, and close to different activities around. Public parking right by the building was definitely a bonus!

I appreciate his flexibility when I told him my situation. He was a great host, and the place was a great spot for a get together to celebrate my friend's achievement.

Host Mama’s place was fabulous! The house had everything we needed and more. It’s in a perfect location close to everything. Host Mama was kind and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. We’ll definitely be back!

We were very happy with our stay! The view of the lake is gorgeous so make sure to take advantage of the porch and deck. The porch is private but the deck is communal but we had it all to ourselves. The bathroom is beautifully remodeled and the shower has great water pressure. The bed was comfy and the space was very clean. There were two of us and it was the perfect amount of space. Location wise, it's not far from Geneva On The Lake and a bunch of local wineries. Be prepared to drive though as there aren't any Ubers around. Overall we had an amazing time and would stay here again!

We absolutely loved the property. It was so nice to have the option to use the grill/ fire pit/ back yard. My husband loved being able to just walk down a few steps to enjoy fishing—which he did every morning and evening. We were only about an hour from Marblehead where we went to see the lighthouse and then took a ferry to Kelley’s Island. On the island, we recommend seeing the Glacial Grooves and the North Shore Alvar. Then an hour in the other direction, we were able to enjoy the views from the observation tower at Lake Erie Bluffs. And very nearby was Lakeview Park, which had a beach area with swimming. The views from the back yard at sunset were stunning. We had everything we needed for a nice relaxing stay by the water. Thank you!

Judy's place might not be in the heart of Ohio City, but don't let that affect your stay. The neighborhood is great and the houses are grand and the cafes and bars are plentiful. Try Astoria is a few blocks away. The house is advertised. She keeps it minimal and the furniture is basic but functional. You won't end up sneaking off with a coffee table or a lamp. The house is clean and stocked with everything you will need. The shower is the best place in the house--you'll tell your friends and family about the pressure and the tub.

Just spend a very relaxing week at LIana’s lake front cottage. We all had a wonderful vacation. There is a beautiful deck and hot tub to enjoy the views of Lake Erie in the backyard. It also has its own little beach where you can go for a swim everyday to cool off. It is so quiet with the only sound being the breeze coming off the water. Check in was very smooth and LIana was such a wonderful host. Anytime I had a question before and during our stay she got back to me right away. It definitely felt like home away from home and I loved the fact that it was also dog friendly so I could bring my dog with us. My dog had a blast on the beach going swimming everyday. All in all a great experience that I would definitely recommend. Thanks again LIana for everything. We all enjoyed our stay and were very sad to leave.

Very cute place to stay and enjoy the view through the dining area window. My friends and I enjoyed playing board games, grilling, and having fires. Lake is swimmable and looks clean but we did not swim with the weather being very cold. Overall a very quaint place to stay with lots of nature (and birds) to take in and enjoy.

Great area. Close to the strip at GOTL. Private parking for two cars. Recommend upgrading the privacy window in bathroom. Half is covered with a paper towel. House had walk in shower which was much appreciated. I suggest adding that in the ad! Great view of lake from the kitchen. Solid internet connection with free WiFi. Would stay there again!

I returned to stay at this location after having been there the previous year. It has everything I need, and is so peaceful. The decor is adorable, and the bed is comfortable. I hope I will have a chance to return again and stay for a longer time.

Steve's place was spotless. We made a last minute reservation and it was evident that the place had been cleaned or refreshed just before we arrived. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The back deck and the lake deck, we're both wonderfully peaceful and beautiful places to hang out. And there are some surprisingly good wineries nearby. We will stay here again!

We love Molly’s little cottage on their wonderful farm. It is so peaceful and the surrounding area is so beautiful and private. I don’t think we’ve ever stayed in a more well equipped kitchen….anything you could possibly need is provided! The hosts are so friendly and responsive, while also completely respecting your privacy. We definitely hope to stay again in the future. Truly one of our favorite airbnbs! =)
