The apartment is accessed from the ground floor of the main entrance of the building (which has also another entrance from the garage area 2 floors below) and the windows are on the first and second floor. It is also possible to rent the main apartment without the studio as visible from my profile on my other page of the Plus listing. Just renovated, it accomodates both old and new, like Rome itself. The main apartment has a spacious entrance, a sunny elegant sitting room, rare to find, with beautiful original marble floors and a splendid Murano chandelier, a pretty terrace, where smoking is allowed, where to relax and 4 beautiful double bedrooms with Queen size beds. The connecting studio can be prepared with twin beds or a double. It has it's independent entrance and a well equipped kitchen corner with fridge, electric kettle, toaster ecc and a lovely modern stone bathroom with wide shower and Led illumination. All bedrooms have their ensuite bathrooms, flat screen TV and hot and cold airconditioning and locks on the doors. They are all in different styles and colors, with high quality mattresses and linens, duvets in winter months, wide windows and spacious wardrobes. 2 bathrooms have jetted tubs and cromo lights. Tubs are divided from the bedrooms by a glass panel and are conveniently positioned so that you can even watch TV while relaxing in your bath! The other 3 bathrooms have showers. You will find hairdryers in all the bedrooms and an iron with ironing board. The dining area has plenty of sitting place and a french window onto a charming terrace shaded and secluded by trees. There is a modern fully equipped kitchen with french window onto a balcony where you'll find the washing/dryer machine and outside sink. Born as a family home it has a characteristic unique blend of new and old. Memories of it's past in the antique books, records and paintings together with modern comforts and art. It conserves original precious marble floorings and some antique pieces like the magnificent original Venini Murano chandelier and the antique sofa in the sitting room close to modern design. Our guests can relax and rest in the lovely spacious sitting room, maybe after a warm bath in the jetted tubs and enjoy cooking if they wish in the new modern fully equipped kitchen with electric oven, 5 burner cooker, dishwasher, microwave oven, fridge and freezer. There are also an electric Espresso/cappuccino machine, electric kettle, toaster, juicer, blender, plenty of crockery and all cooking utensils. We have given all rooms a different name: - St. Peter's. A modern spacious room with parquet flooring window and french window onto private balcony. Lovely room with stunning black and white bathroom with jetted tub - St. Angelo. A classic bright and elegant room with marble floors. The apartment is wheelchair accessible and we can organize special aids on request. Please contact me for details. Supermarkets, bars, taxi station, great restaurants and shops are all within steps. Bus stop just across the road direct to Piazza Venezia Historical centre and stadium. You'll be everywhere in minutes The apartment is near the Vatican City, 15 minutes walk from S.Peter's Square and from Vatican Museums, a short bus ride from Navona Square and Campo de' Fiori, 10 minutes by underground from Spagna Steps and Piazza del Popolo. Connected to Stadium directly by bus 31. Bus stops across the road with direct lines to St. Peter's, Piazza Venezia (beginning of Forum walk to Colosseum), Trevi, Pantheon, Piazza Navona ext. The underground is at 900 mts walk and there is a taxi station just across the square. Metro Line A connecting Piazza del Popolo, Spanish steps, Barberini ext to Termini train station and from there Fiumicino Airport. Baldo degli Ubaldi stop At last, for shopping lovers, the zone is one of the best in Rome! All at walking distance. Favoloso appartamento situato al primo piano (= diciassette gradini e ascensore che vi porteranno a fianco della porta d'ingresso della casa) in un palazzo del 1600-1700. Questo appartamento è stato completamente restaurato nel 2014, conservando gli affreschi originali del 1600-1700 che sono in tutte le pareti interne Il suo bellissimo balcone e le sue finestre si affacciano sulla Famosa Loggia del Porcellino. Arredato con cura e con eleganti mobili di alta gamma lo rende veramente un gioiello. L'appartamento è stato completamente e finito di restaurarto ( escluso gli affreschi) a GIUGNO 2014 con primissime qualita nei materiali a e con tutti confort che occorrono e arredato con gusto . L'edificio è del 1200 ed all'interno di tutto l'appartamento, le pareti interne hanno affreschi originali e no restaurati, dell'anno 700. Ideale per chi vuole vivere la Storia di Firenze. Si trova in una posizione fantastica e soprattutto nel mezzo dell' area pedonale. Per chi ama visitare i monumenti ed i musei più importanti della città, si possono raggiungere brevemente a piedi senza nessun bisogno di qualunque servizio pubblico essendo l'appartamento nel cuore del centro storico. Gli ospiti avranno a completa disposizione , tutto l'appartamento e tutti i confort di cui ne fanno parte. La cucina è predisposta per tutti i tipi di colazione ( Bollitore per the, Tostapane, Macchina per il caffè alla americana, Moka per caffè alla italiana,Vari tipi di Tè , ecc....) per cucinare è fornito di tutto il necessario ( Pentole, Posate, Bicchieri, Piatti, Frigorifero, Microonde, ecc...) It can accommodate up to three guests plus younger children. We’ve taken a lot of care to try and make sure your stay is as comfy and hassle-free as possible. There are various possible sleeping combinations so please ask if you need a particular arrangement. A child’s cot is available on request. Dogs are welcome and we can provide a dog’s bed. There’s wi-fi and air-conditioning in every room. Appliances include TV-DVD combo, dishwasher, washing machine and almost everything else you might need. The furniture is brand new except when it’s rather old. You can borrow from our collection of guidebooks, cookbooks, novels and DVDs during your stay. Just across the road is the covered market of Piazza Epiro, great for typical fresh local produce. Many major attractions are nearby: the Basilica of San Giovani in Laterano, the Baths of Caracalla, Circus Maximus and the Colosseum, the Museum of the Walls, the Catacombs, and the beautiful Basilica of St. Stephen in the Round. BUSES 360 to Termini Central Station 628 to Town Centre 218, 360 and 665 to San Giovanni Metro METRO San Giovanni and Piazza Re di Roma are both 10 minutes away on foot. And 218, 360 and 665 buses run from San Giovanni to Piazza Epiro. ON FOOT You can reach a lot of attractions on foot. For example, the Colosseum is about 20 minutes' pleasant walk away. TAXIS The nearest taxi rank is at Piazza Tuscolo a few minutes' walk away. CYCLE You can hire bicycles locally from Info Point Appia Antica, Via Appia Antica, 58. This is a great way to visit the Appia Antica Park. SCOOTER HIRE Hiring a scooter is a great way to get around Rome.
