Host was very responsive throughout the booking process until before checkout. Place was clean and has strong air conditioning. We enjoyed a relaxing stay at this place! Highly recommend!

The room I stayed in was truly wonderful and lovely. The location is ideal for anyone looking to get away from the noise and chaos of city life and experience a rural setting connected to nature. I had a great time during my trip and enjoyed the area. Cabangan is better suited for those with a motorcycle or personal vehicle, although it's still accessible for those without one. Overall, I'd rate it a solid 10 out of 10. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond. Additionally, the caretaker, Kuya Jared, and Ate Lea were incredibly helpful and generous. I will definitely come back here again. Thank you!

We had a great stay! Location is perfect, right in the beach and is very peaceful. Sunset is Superb!! We came unprepared to cook, thinking we’d just eat out like we usually do on trips, but there weren’t any restaurants nearby. Luckily, the hosts were super accommodating—gave us tips on where to get food, lent us utensils, and were always easy to talk to. Kuya Ipe even offered us fresh fish he caught himself the next morning! The hospitality made all the difference. Would definitely return!

Kuya is very helpful, he sent instructions to the place that was easy to follow. Place is near sari sari-store and coffee shop. Walkable to the beach. There was some brown out but the place had a generator. Signal is weak but there is available wifi.

Had a restful stay. Public beach is less than a five minute walk from the place via a dirt road. Lovely view of the sea and the mountains. Locals and the caretaker were kind and welcoming. The house cat, Ailenette, named by a previous guest, is adorable and needs some love. The beach needs some love, too. There's the occasional litter but honestly, since it's a public beach and there's no fee, it should also be on us, ON YOU. The sea was too beautiful for me to be disappointed. What was truly disappointing were the people who would leave their trash on the beach. Tao nga naman. Selfie-selfie lang tapos kung magkalat sa dagat, akala mo sariling bahay lang.

Such a great laid-back place! Perfect for the family or the barkada getaway. Can't say enough about the host, she was very accommodating throughout the process. Place is very nice and clean and a ton of amenities. Sarisari stores are just a stone's throw away. The beach is OK but the vibes are amazing. Will definitely recommend to my friends. Try the Oliver's pizza restaurant a few minutes drive away if you want to eat some nice food.

Chris has been patient with all my queries before booking the place. Staffs were very helpful and responsive to our requests. Place is beautiful! (although the pool is quite small compared to how I expected it to be.) Thanks for accommodating us.

Location was great, it was right by the beach. Unit was clean, airconditioning was really good - although it would be a nice improvement if they would install an AC in that one non-AC room (we are aware that there was one non-AC room even before booking so I guess that is ok). Shared kitchen was really functional and complete with utensils and cookware but sometimes it can get too crowded and full since you share it with other guests. Wifi was ok, not so fast though so it is not very reliable for remote work purposes. Host was always very helpful, responds to inquiries, replies fast.

We had a wonderful stay at Erlyn and Jun's rest house! Erlyn and Jun were fantastic hosts! Everything was perfect — cozy, clean, and welcoming. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway. Thank you for your hospitality! Would definitely stay again!😊

One of the most complete stays we've ever booked. From household amenities to minor things you think you may not need, everything's there already 😁 Pupunta ka nalang talaga haha

Upon entering the house, i was impressed with the interior. I did not expect to find a house like this in iba. The house is compact but styed like an upscale condo in manila. The house has everything we needed. Everything was clean and well maintained. Staff mang dado was very accomodating.

As a large family, we stayed at Melisa's place for a week. Our thoughts: Pros: -- Great beach-side location. It was very easy to get to the ocean. -- Good layout. We liked the kubo setup of the property. -- Helpful staff. The caretakers were friendly and cooked delicious food for us. -- Mostly peaceful. We had the property to ourselves, which was very nice. Cons: -- Bathroom. There's only 1 toilet, which isn't ideal for large groups. Also, although the indoor shower and toilet have a wall between them, the wall doesn't quite extend to the ceiling. So it's a bit awkward if somebody's using the toilet while somebody else is using the shower. -- A bit of noise. The neighbors were mostly very quiet all week, which was nice. But on our last night, the property next door hosted a wedding ceremony, and the music blasted all afternoon until about 10pm. We don't blame Melisa for this, but there's a small noise risk. Overall: Very good, we would go back anytime.
