Absolutely delightful cottage which catered for all our needs (3 generations!). warm, dry, clean. Very well equipped and we really appreciated the extra details and treats in the pantry and fridge!! Host was warm and welcoming & check in was a breeze. We wish we could have stayed longer but I'm sure we will be back again! Thankyou!

Warm cozy tastefully decorated house with plenty of heating options. Super comfortable beds in good sized bedrooms. Full kitchen with great coffee maker and pantry. Local walkable shops have a good vibe with several dinner options, cafes and gift options. Worth checking out and can thoroughly recommend a stay at John's place.

We booked Dwaynes place last minute (same day arrival) for a few of our employees who job had been delayed. Dwayne was amazing and have the place ready for our team- even turned the heater on for them so that when they arrived it was nice and toasty for them. The guys gave great feedback about the accommodation and said that they would 100% stay there again. Thanks so much Dwayne, our guys really enjoyed their stay!

What a great place to stay. Handy yo everything we needed, especially golf. Great check in treats, especially loved the OJ, Peanuts & Snickers Bars. The addition of a chipping net to practice in the back yard was a very special touch. Highly recommended & we'll definstely be back when next in Palmy. Thanks Jo for a great stay.

This is an awesome Airbnb. The pictures on the add do not do it justice. Lovely rural, peaceful setting. The house is super cosy but feels big at the same time. It has everything you need. The beds are very comfortable and everything is modern throughout. The outdoor space is great and it was an extra bonus to be allowed take our dogs. They loved running around the sage fenced garden.

I had an absolutely lovely stay here. The house is beautiful and full of charm, especially with the big trees in the garden—being here in autumn made it even more stunning with all the changing colours. The garden is spacious with lots of different seating areas, and I loved sitting outside listening to the birds singing—it was so peaceful. There are heaps of beds and rooms, each with its own unique style, and the décor throughout is really thoughtfully done. The house has everything you might need, from a fully equipped kitchen to a big, comfy bath. I especially appreciated the heating pad in the bed—it made the nights extra cosy. The host also provided a helpful house manual with local recommendations, which was a great touch. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm and comfortable stay in a gorgeous setting.

Such a beautiful home for our family of 5. This house had absolutely everything we needed so we decided to stay home and enjoy it. we will totally be back 😊

Thank you so much Leona, Matt and James Brown for sharing your amazing space with us. The Schoolhouse is so beautifully decorated in vintage style, the lounge area was comfy and relaxing and there was loads to do, from jigsaws and board games to playing records on the mixing deck, hitting a few balls on the tennis court and splashing around in the swimming pool. The kitchen was really well equipped and we loved all the gorgeous vintage glasses and crockery. Thank you also for the breakfast pancake supplies and Easter treats. We ventured out with our 2 dogs to check out the local Cliff Walk - an easy flat off-leash stroll, had a delicious lunch in the Lazy Graze Cafe, were astounded by the amazingly stocked second hand bookshop and also visited the iconic Tui Brewery for a lovely sunny lunch. We all, dogs and teenagers included, had the best time at school over Easter. Thank you!

Sarah’s retreat was a great place for our large group of 15. Close to town and restaurants etc. An evening Spa was a great way to relax after a busy day. Will stay again!

Loved our stay here, both my husband and I were working in the Palmerston North area and we have a little dog, staying here was ideal for us and made the end of our days relaxing and stress free. Sarah made sure our every need was catered for. Thanks again for your superb hospitality 10 out of 10!

My motorcycle got cancelled on me so Plan B came into effect. This property is exactly what I needed after I rode my motorcycle to Palmerston North. Great Host, lovely garden with your own reading/coffee nook. The room had everything you needed with a lovely selection of tea/coffee beverages, snacks that I truly appreciated after my ride. I felt at home and I was completely relaxed feet up and enjoyed the company of the dogs and chooks. Thanks team I would definitely rebook.

This is my fourth time staying here, and it won’t be my last. Love staying here and the added bonus of being pet friendly is appreciated.
