Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Palo Alto

We spent 3 nights during the Memorial Day weekend The location was superb ; stones throw from all the restaurants at University Avenue , yet the neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful Beautifully done up home with a lovely backyard

We found John’s place to be quiet with no traffic at all. We approached the washer & dryer. When asked, John quickly brought us an iron and ironing board. We felt fortunate to be there.

Great place to stay if you need to be close to Palo Alto. Can cook or prepare meals if you want as it has a full Kitchen. Allocated parking space a plus as street parking not always availible. Close to Highway exits, 101, so easy to drive to San Jose or San Franscico. You will need a car if you stay at this location. I recommend it once you read the reviews so you know what to expect.

A beautiful house on a quiet and shady street. Half a block from a great coffee shop, and an easy walk to downtown Palo Alto. Would definitely stay again!

This was my second time staying here, and it continued to be an excellent experience all around. Very clean and cozy. Perfectly located for accessing Stanford. Comfortable bed. Great, new appliances for meeting all your needs. And a seamless check in and communication experience with the hosts. Strongly recommend.

We had a lovely stay! Jenny is the perfect host she accommodated all our needs and requests prior to our stay and during. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable very clean and functional. Would highly recommend the place !!!

This is my second stay with Jessica and Florian. This two bedroom house with a sunroom and fenced in yard is my favorite place to stay in the area. It is clean and nicely decorated. The linens are very nice and they have taken care to make sure the beds are comfortable. I really appreciate that they welcome dogs. The kitchen is great and easy to cook in. Stayed at Oriel’s place during a recent trip to Palo Alto and couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The space looks just like the photos, everything feels fresh and nicely upgraded, with thoughtful touches throughout. There’s even a small patio that was perfect for enjoying my morning coffee. It’s in a great location too, just a short drive to Stanford and close enough to everything without feeling too busy. Oriel was super communicative, especially when some construction started next door. He went out of his way to have them hold off while I finished an important video call, which I really appreciated. All in all, it was a great stay. Loved the space, loved the hospitality, and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town. Visiting from North Carolina

The cozy casita was absolutely amazing. It was perfect for my weekend getaway. I had plans in emeryville it was very close. The details of the casita were well thought out. I felt the love that was put in. Would definitely stay again.

This was the a great place to stay for a short work trip. The unit is a first floor private studio apartment with its own private bathroom and kitchen in a small apartment building. There is controlled access to the overall building as well as a key to the room. It is convenient walking distance from everything on Castro as well as the Caltrain station. As others mention, the main drawback was the noise, but I actually found it easier to sleep that way. The kitchen is stocked with some basic food items and breakfast like bagels, yogurt, fruit, coffee pods. It is an older building and unit that I thought had character. Very clean and comfortable.

Perfect stay in Palo Alto! The place was very comfortable and spacious in a peaceful area and in walking distance from the town. We really enjoyed our time there and April and the team were super helpful and responsive to any questions or needs.

Strolling through Santa Row, you’ll find beautifully landscaped streets, making it a joy to explore on foot. The proximity of cafes, restaurants, and entertainment venues means you can easily grab a bite or enjoy a drink without needing to drive. This makes it particularly appealing for tourists and locals alike.

Very convenient location, easy walk to UC Berkeley. Even though it's near a busy intersection, it felt very quiet and peaceful. The unit is much more spacious than I was anticipating and it was nice to have a complete kitchen. Al is a very kind and responsive host. I would definitely recommend!

Very convenient in walking distance to downtown and to the Stanford Campus

We had a fantastic time. The view was second to none, with easy access to the beach and restaurants. Kitchen was clean and had everything we needed. Great coffee shop within walking distance (albeit with a decent hill). We happened to stay when whales were just off the coast and saw them from the shore. Could not have asked for a better day. For those with mobility issues - you do need to climb about 10 narrow steps to get to the tram, which lets you skip the rest of the stairs. But there is no way around those first steps. Would absolutely come back.

Perfect place to stay in Alameda with young kids! Kimberly’s condo had a pack and play, highchair, and even toys for my young children to play with. The walk in closet was a great space to put the pack and play to add some separation for nap and overnight sleep. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay. The home is lovely and the area is very walkable with lots of restaurants and shops accessible.
