When weather permits, we keep a fire pit going where you can make S’mores right in front of your cabin or cook your meal on a tabletop charcoal grill. We welcome you here to enjoy rest during your travels or maybe need a quiet place near the Hospital. We are only two miles from historic downtown. Also, I will prepare breakfast for you and deliver to your door!

The Lazy Possum Cottage @PK

The Lazy Possum Cottage is a modern fishing cabin on the north side of Possum Kingdom Lake. This newly remodeled waterfront property offers a gentle slope to the water perfect for swimming and wading. It is usually deep enough to moor a boat or jet skis right at the shore although if the water level fluctuates you might have to tie it up a little further out or use our boat slip at the Marina less than a quarter mile away. Current registration and proof of insurance is required for the dock.

Leave your worries behind while you swim from the dock, sit by the fire pit and BBQ with the family. Kitchen area is fully equipped to prepare meals as well. Cabin boasts a screened in porch with lovely outdoor seating to read, chat, or to simply admire the view. 1 bedroom upstairs, 2 twin beds and a futon in the kitchen/dining area downstairs. Can sleep 6 people.

Private Large fire pit with four Adirondack chairs, outdoor dining table, string lights, Weber smoker and rocking chairs, as well as Corn hole. Inside is a spacious cabin with large tv (Roku) stand up shower, Queen bedroom w/tv, set of bunkbeds & fold out futon. Kitchen is small but well equipped. Only 5 miles to Rocker B!
