This location is a bit remote but totally worth it. A stream runs by the property, a lot of jackfruits around, a small checkdam-waterfall at walking distance and further ahead some beautiful viewpoints. Locals are friendly, a young couple helped us to checkin and an uncle guided us to a viewpoint. Vivin is really kind, he coordinated everything through phone. We were lucky to have booked Sibi's cab from Kochi because they both communicated seamlessly in Malayalam and took us to lesser known sightseeing places. He got things arranged pretty well. Vivin also offered us homegrown fruits and jackfruits, his mom Sophie aunty was super warm and kind to us. This is not a commercial luxurious resort, this is a proper house where you get to experience how locals live, first hand. Different experience, totally worth it. This place by the Offbeat crew is exactly as described. The location is the best, there are a few amazing spots around the property such as a natural pool with amazing lighting at night, an incredible balcony perfect for bird watching all times of day and a few stargazing spots at night. The host is more than happy to sort out lunch and dinner as well as planning lovely offbeat days out such as trekking through the jungle or going to secluded waterfalls, completely alone. It really feels like the surroundings are all yours!

The stay was scenic, offbeat and perfect! Divya even helped us to arrange for the cab driver, who was warm, friendly and accommodative. Made things easier while traveling with family. Many spots/activites are available nearby spotting elephants, waterfalls, elephant ride, zip line,view points (kottapara was our favourite) Food arrangments were exquisite! Freshly prepared and tasty! My personal favourite was veg stew and idiyappam. Overall, a stay with value for money! Go for it!

Solitude is an incredible and secluded retreat, perfect for unwinding and relaxation. The property is exactly as depicted in the photos, offering a serene and picturesque setting. The caretaker, Kalesh, is exceptionally friendly and ensures top-notch hospitality. From recommending local attractions to setting up a cozy bonfire and serving delicious meals, he took care of every detail. This place is a true gem, and I’ll definitely be returning in the future.
