The property matched the description provided, though the photographs give the impression of a larger space. Nevertheless, it perfectly met our requirements. Chris was exceptionally responsive to our inquiries, addressing various questions we had. The area was clean and filled with ample natural light. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the surrounding land for play, as well as the small game room stocked with toys, which was a welcome respite during a particularly rainy and windy day. The on-site washing machine was available for free use, and the washing line proved to be quite useful. Although the outdoor pool was not heated, it did not deter my children from taking a dip and having fun. I would certainly consider staying at this property again.

Matt and Chloe were great hosts, communicative and helpful. The house was lovely, modern, private and set amongst the trees. There was a great welcome basket waiting for us with visitor information, scones, jam and clotted cream, tea, milk in the fridge. The bathroom was great, with a good power shower. The beds were very comfortable with lovely bed linen. The weather was not so good but we did manage to use the pool, which was clean and a nice temperature. We visited: Port Isaac, Padstow, Rock, Bodmin jail. A great place to stay, we would not hesitate to book again in the future.

Absolutely stunning location! The views are outstanding and the private access direct to the estuary/beach is great. The garden is steep but that’s to be expected, we made great use of the pool and hot tub and it was an added bonus that we could use the paddle boards! The house its self is beautiful and spotlessly clean. A few things do need sorting though, there was the odd missing door handle, bifold doors are hard to use and the master bathroom door didn’t close. However these didn’t bother us at all as everything else was perfect. Easy walking distance to Crantock and Fistral beaches, which were both beautiful. We would 100% book again! We stayed at the palm tree lodge for 3 nights it was lovely and peaceful just what we needed, Jules the host was most helpful on hand to answer any questions we had, the information she provided was clear and easy to follow ie check-in and house rules. The lodge itself was super homely equipped with everything we needed and more. The design and theme was so nice giving us inspiration for our own home. Would we stay again? most definitely we could not fault the property or the host.

We stayed for a weekend and it was perfect. A beautiful property in a very quiet and relaxing setting. Hosts provided all of the information we needed. We will certainly return for another visit in future!

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Caroline’s place! We loved the freshly baked scones, clotted cream and jam on arrival. Check in was super easy as the key was just left in the door. Our little boy Myles loved watching the alpacas too! Overall very pleasant and refreshing stay I would recommend!

We had an amazing time at the bay talland! Staff was super friendly and the house was more than what we hoped for! The hot tub, pool, plunge pool and sauna was all included in our stay and we loved using them! We would highly recommend staying here for a peaceful escape. Thanks so much.

This was our family’s second stay at what is our favourite spot at Retallack. The lodge, being right on the water, feels peaceful and secluded, but is only a few minutes’ walk to the pool, restaurant and other amenities. Mel is a great host, always replying quickly, and the lodge has everything we needed for our stay. We’d definitely come back again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property was clean, and well presented. Barny was a very welcoming host leaving clear and easy instructions both on arrival and check-out. The location was great - close to the beach, and a short drive to the Eden Project, which was our main reason for the stay. Thoroughly recommend.

Absolutely gorgeous lil snug hidden away in the countryside of Cornwall. We couldn’t have loved our stay more. The home was stunning, the views were lush and Philippa was outstanding. Would definitely recommend :)

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful cottage. The cottage was very clean, tasteful decorated and had everything we needed. It's in a quiet area with a lovely and peaceful garden. It's just a short walk to the harbour with great restaurants. The Eden project and the Lost Gardens of Heligen are a short drive away and it's also not far to the beautiful beaches on the North coast of Cornwall. We had a great stay, we felt straight at home and we can only recommend staying here.

Our stay in Charlestown was the perfect Cornwall getaway. The house had everything we needed to spend time relaxing, making home cooked meals and socialising as a family. Christa’s place is in the perfect location, quietly hidden away whilst also being just minutes walk from all of the wonderful local bars and restaurants. We followed a nearby coastal walk to a gorgeous little beach and enjoyed drinks at the lovely Pier house in the evening. Fantastic value for money and would definitely return. We’ll never forget our first little holiday with our new baby daughter!

Absolutely wonderful! It’s a 3 mins walk to the beach, 4 car parking, so much space, so many bathrooms and it instantly felt like home. Everything has been thought of, from the coffee machine, to a huge fridge, tons of pans, trays to cook whatever you need. There are over 20 plates, bowls, glasses (so no need to constantly wash up - you’re on holiday!) as well as loads of spare cupboard space for the food shop. The baby bath, travel cot and high chair were fab. Shops are just around the corner and it was so easy to get everywhere. Smart TV made it easy for the kids to chill, so much outdoor space and seating, beds were so comfortable and all linen and towels were great quality. Absolutely nothing I could fault. We loved it all and will definitely be back - it was so nice not fighting over car parking spaces and walking down to the Hugh sandy beach and spending the whole day there.

Saffron House is a fabulous place. Wonderful roomy lounge, great Wi Fi, top of the line shower. You walk out side of the place and you are in the Heart of Fowey which is one of the most beautiful places we have visited. Robert was on the ball with everything and even texted us on our arrival day to say that we could check in early. Definitely would stay again.

So pleased we booked this accommodation for a week to celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary. It proved an excellent base for exploring the local area, although to be honest, Charlestown Harbour, within easy walking distance, proved to be our favourite spot, with it's pretty setting , nice cafe's and restaurant (The Pier Hotel) and characterful beach. Laura was a great host and whilst living next door, respected our privacy but was available for helpful advice if required. Having large supermarkets within a 5 minute drive was a bonus as was the glorious weather we had throughout our weeks stay. Enjoyed sitting on the terrace in the sunshine watching the bees and the chickens. Thank you Laura.

We loved our stay. It's the second time we've been and we stayed for a week this time. perfect place for a family holiday (3 generations), plenty of space and good kitchen facilities for group meals. The location is amazing, really quiet and you can either drive to local attractions, walk along the river, or stay put in the village and enjoy the scenery. Everyone in our group was provided for, the kids especially loved the stepping stones, looking for creatures in the river, and the trampoline in the garden.

Booked to have a little downtime following our daughters wedding. Accommodation perfectly matched website . Everything in the property was of a high standard ( beds and linen particularly comfy and luxurious) . Central for all amenities. Parking would have been an added bonus , but as with many properties in Fowey private parking extremely limited . Would highly recommend.

Just wow. Only built a year ago the accommodation was fab and everything had been thought of. Loved the bed, linen and towels. Everything so clean and fresh and the kitchen area was well equipped. Everything you’d need and more eg foil, cling film, Tupperware boxes, umbrellas, beach towels. Owners so friendly and clearly want to make sure you enjoy your stay. Lovely and easy walk down to town - to Readymoney cove and then along the esplanade to the shops, restaurants and bars. The walk back up after dinner wasn’t as bad as I’d thought it might be! Thoroughly recommend Sam’s for dinner. Would love to return and have time to explore further

An amazing place. No faults at all. Full of character and exactly as described. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and did not want to leave.

The house is superb, well equipped, beautifully decorated, clean and bright. It is in an excellent location, just a short stroll to the harbour, shops, pubs and much more. We hired the hot tub as an extra and would thoroughly recommend especially after a long coast path walk it was just the ticket. Debra is a great host, extremely helpful and always quick to respond to queries. The welcome gifts were very much appreciated and a lovely touch which made us feel very welcome. Definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Sara’s beautiful home. There’s no better place to watch the world go by in Fowey harbor. The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, with plenty of spaces for our family of 5 to enjoy being together and apart. Sara was welcoming and responsive host. Thanks for a magical 6 days.

The cottages were ideally located for exploring the south coast of Cornwall and we both had an enjoyable stay. The cottage was accurately described and comfortable and in a nice secluded area. Karl was helpful and was easy to talk to. The cottage was extremely clean and provided all the kitchen facilities that was needed. The beds were comfortable and the linen was fresh and clean. The bathroom was spotless. The only negatives were lack of phone signal and internet however this is what is to be expected in such a rural location. Would certainly recommend the cottages to family and friends.

A lovely place to stay in Fowey right on the water. Perfect to stroll into the centre of Fowey. We particularly enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace whilst looking at the sail boats on the river. There were 6 of us and we were comfortable throughout. Would highly recommend.

Had a lovely stay at Ali’s gorgeous house. Stylishly decorated, spacious and comfortable, and in a quaint village with excellent food options. Would LOVE to return again
