It was perfect. The second time we stayed there and we planned our trip around the availability of the place as it is so perfect. The location is wow surrounded by olive groves overlooking the sea and mountains but not too steep up the mountain that one couldn't walk to the nearest organized beach and back including umbrellas, chairs and tavernas. Beautiful garden well maintained. The house is very spacious for a couple and can be suitable for two children too. There is plenty of cupboard and drawer space with space in the bathroom for toiletries. One doesn't need to search for space to put things. Everything is new and tastefully done, very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped and George and his wife leave basic things so one doesn't need to run to a supermarket immediately. Including home made treats, jams and the best olives I've ever tasted. They are always available if needed. It is secure with closed gate in the premises. My first choice for next time in Kalamata.

Cozy apartment on the beach

Nikki (& her husband), whose family live above the property, was very welcoming and helpful in explaining the amenities of the apartment and where the local beaches were up 100 metres across the road either side of the property. The apartment was immaculately clean, had new amenities, with a comfortable main bed (with additional sofa & camp bed in the storage room) - Nikki's ground level apartment was so much more than expected. The apartment was extremely quiet even with being on the main road. I would stay again in a heart beat when I visit Kalamata again. Very secure, very quiet, excellent amenities, off street parking - a perfect place to stay for a weekend or a week!

Very nice apartment, beautiful sea view. A car is imperative if you plan to stay there. The nearby beaches are difficult to access on foot, if you want a beautiful beach, you have to go to Kalamata, about 15 mins drive.
