A mountain villa built more than 100 years ago , implanted on an imposing rock with a unique surroundings and a breathtaking view over the sea the city , Cascais and the mountain where it is inserted . The house was recently refurbished and enlarged with a modern and design construction enjoying the view and surroundings . You can see it from the top of the Serra de Sintra, to Guincho to Cabo Espichel. A stone's throw from the pedestrian paths of the Serra de Sintra and its monuments and next to good restaurants , cafes with good atmosphere , the small village has a supermarket and pharmacy for your tranquility. Guests have at their disposal a house with 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen, totally private and access to a large garden with an infinite pool where they can enjoy the wonderful view. I live on the property and am available to share stories and information about the region. I love cycling and know the Serra like the back of my hand. I can share the secrets of the mountains and advise the best restaurants in the region. Malveira da Serra, picturesque village next to Cascais and Lisbon (20 min), with hiking trails in Serra de Sintra and its monuments. Guincho Beach and its wild dunes with their unique beauty are a paradise for surfing/kite-surfing/windsurfing. I advise you to use your own car.

The Pool Pavilion is a cosy and relaxed two suites and kitchen space that overlooks a lush garden and is the ideal choice for a joyful and relaxing getaway. Appointed to a high standard with simple yet sophisticated materials, such as micro cement flooring , stucco walls and linen curtains, and decorated in soothing natural colours, it blends harmoniously with its surroundings. Large patio doors lead out onto a spacious, private garden with wood decking, a heated pool, sun loungers and table.

The Avencas Beach House is an apartment located on the first line of the sea, opposite the Avencas beach and with a fabulous view over the ocean. It is 20 minutes from Lisbon and 10 minutes from Cascais. It consists of a bedroom with two beds (can be converted into a double bed), a living room with full open concept kitchen with a double sofa bed and a W.C. complete with shower and washing machine and dryer. There are several restaurants, cafés, wine houses, available within walking distance.

This apartment is unique in its surroundings due to the terrace equipped with a barbecue and a beautiful view. Take a walk to Parede beach (9 min), or to Riviera Shopping Center, on the way to Carcavelos beach (12 min walk) where you can take surf lessons. The house is located on the 3rd floor, without elevator, so it's an opportunity to do some fitness. :) It's equipped with Wi-Fi, TV in the living room and bedroom, and a complete kitchen with dish and cloth washing machines..

Chalet Marias is a brand new traditional portuguese chalet (construction ended on 2023) with a charm studios concept. Located at Parede, a small town at Cascais (one of the best region to live in Portugal) A five minutes walking or cycling from the beach. Train station (Lisbon to Cascais), restaurants, supermarket and bakeries is less 1 minute walking. Beach towels is included and is possible choosing the type of beds (twins or single). My stay at Dilma's was just wonderful. The house is in a very quiet cul-de-sac and in a few minutes you are both on the train and on the beach. Since small apartment is very lovingly decorated and had everything I needed for my stay. I especially loved the loggia, where you can slide the windows wide and where you can sit in the sun for breakfast. It was also great that you can darken the bedroom with blinds. Dilma is a very wonderful person and also my son, who is studying in Lisbon, was very welcome. Thank you for an unforgettable stay dear Dilma! I sincerely hope to come back!

Marta's place is a perfect combination of boutique hotel and a home away from home. It's beautifully designed, well equipped and has super comfortable beds. We didn't miss anything in the kitchen and we cooked several meals at home for our kids. The kids and baby equipment was great and Marta had even arranged toys for us. The cosy outdoor area(s) and the private pool felt like an oasis after a day in Lisbon or Cascais (easy to get to from Parede train station). Even though it's in an urban location the outdoor area felt private and wasn't overlooked. Marta and her husband Paulo were very friendly, responsive and helpful. We would strongly recommend Marta's place and we hope to book it again next time we're in the area.

This is an excellent apartment if you are going to be in the Carcavelos area. The apartment is in a quiet residential area, close to restaurants and also the beach. It is also very easy to always find parking on the street. Ana Lucia is such a lovely person that truly cares about providing the best to her guests. She was always communicating and the check in was made easy. I would absolutely recommend this apartment.

The place was very clean and comfortable, making it easy to settle in right away. It was also easy to find and get into, which made our arrival smooth and stress-free. Plus, it was just about a 3-minute walk to a grocery store and pharmacy, and restaurants and banks were also within walking distance. Cassie was very accommodating to our requests and made sure we had everything we needed, and Solange was always responsive whenever we had questions. Overall, it was a pleasant and hassle-free stay, and a wonderful way to conclude our Portugal trip.
