Cottage holiday rentals in Paredes de Coura

This house is in the most STUNNING location with AMAZING views. We arrived early hours and Tiago was more than helpful at this time. We were told of the house’s rich religious history which is reflected in the artwork and decor of the house. 7 of us stayed for 8 days 2 couples and 3 teens More than enough space for everyone to have their own privacy and more than enough room for 10 people. The grounds had fig, Apple and lemon trees which we were told we are more than welcome to use. Aldi and Lidl were a 15 minute drive (we rented a car) which was perfect for evening barbecues (huge wood oven outside as well as small grills) The pool was stunning, we spent most days in there from morning till night. It’s a great size and easy to shade with umbrellas if needed. We left our inflatables there for the next person, which someone had also done before we arrived, which was a nice touch. We can’t thank Tiago enough for an amazing 8days. Will defo visit again

Beautiful, remote area! The house does have neighbors right next door that are always visible, so you are always seen when on patio deck or using jacuzzi (not too private). We didn't mind too much, but some people may care about lack of privacy. We would have liked to enjoy morning coffee on the deck, but neighbor ran a tractor and wood chopping saw next to the deck for hours each day, so it was impossible to use deck and enjoy any silence or nature sounds. Kitchen needs to have pots and pans that are compatible with with the induction stove. We did find one that worked, but the others were incompatible. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the region is gorgeous for nature lovers!

Beautiful house, amazing private location above a lake. Very relaxing being immersed in nature. House well kitted out and lovely features. We took our paddleboard and wonderful paddle boarding on the lake. Children loved the swimming and the ‘cold tub’ plunge pool. Thankyou Gerrit and Grace, we hope to return.

We had a fantastic day in Esmeralda's house! It is a beautiful and well connected village: one hour from Vigo e moi perto de Paredes de Coura, Ponte de Lima ou Arcos de Valdevez. In the house, with traditional architecture, it is well restored moi. It's nice and comfortable, well decorated, with a good bathroom and all kinds of garments and utensils for cooking. Or pillow mattress and as pillows are comfortable and with bed roupa and towels are prefectas. Or Cardin and beautiful and has sun loungers, tables and cadeiras to enjoy outdoor tamén do. Esmeralda foi friendly and polite. We'll turn around for sure!

Very nice space, very clean and Mr. Carlos recommended some restaurants and many places to visit. Great for family, I recommend it.

This house was spacious and in a beautiful location, about 20 minutes from Ponte de Lima. It was a great place to stay, central to visiting the beach, the national park or the city. There were many things for our children to do at the house with the game tables, pool, hot tub, suana and padel court. The property is full of possibility and very beautiful. Jose and family checked us in and were kind and gracious and helpful with any questions that we had.

We spent a week at André's house and we were delighted. A family home in a beautiful natural setting. The forest, the trees and the whole garden were very well cared for. A place to relax, unwind and enjoy in the middle of nature. The perfect pool for children. Thank you so much for the welcome, your parents are lovely. We'll be back!!!

Mariana's house is a dream. We felt very comfortable. Since we unfortunately also had a lot of rain, we particularly enjoyed the cozy and spacious accommodation, cooked, baked cakes from the apples of the garden, etc. The surroundings are relaxingly quiet. In the village there are also good restaurants and shopping. We explored the Minho Valley, the Atlantic coast and southern Galicia from here. We highly recommend it.

A cozy space in a private corner where we spent very happy moments with family and friends. We were 4 adults and 6 children. The social area of the house (kitchen, living room, patio, barbecue and pool) is very close, which allows moments of permanent conviviality. It is close to fantastic places along the river, where we enjoy nature and bathing in crystal clear waters! In the harmony of everyday life, Sílvia was always an asset, easy to contact and with an immediate response. Thank you for having us!

If you're looking for peace and serenity, go for it. Secluded at an altitude of 800m in unspoiled nature, you will have a breathtaking slideshow. You will see wild animals during your walks or 2 steps from your accommodation. 15 min from the Ponte de Lima, you will find everything you will need. Rosa and her husband are extremely kind and we had the opportunity to make us offer local specialties when we woke up. The accommodation is super well-equipped. The accommodation is exactly what it advertises. A quiet place to relax and spend a few days in nature. Liliana is a very friendly host who welcomed us on time and with a gift. To get to restaurants or shopping, a car is a must, but the distance is not too much. Liliana gave us directions on it. This is an old house renovated so you will find that some furniture is old and other modern but all functional. The cleanliness was excellent. I only tried one bed and it was so comfortable. The pool and nature do the rest.

We were a marriage with our daughter and our little dog, the house is very comfortable, the estate is spacious, with high closure and the pool is large, the place is quiet, perfect for disconnecting, there is a bathing area on a river

We had a great stay from start to finish. We were super well received, Cristina was spectacular, always attentive. The space is spotless, the house spacious, a phenomenal outdoor space and a large swimming pool. We intend to return.

In relation to the house, it surpassed the expectations... Well equipped and clean house with everything functional. The house help to the pool is excellent, with bathrooms, shower, well-equipped kitchen, barbecue... and even a small room, for example for children... excellent space for some good convivials together with the pool. Highly recommended and hope to return one day...

The house is beautiful and has everything you need. The surroundings are dreamy. It breathes a lot of peace. Excellent for a few days of disconnection. The treatment received from the first to the last day, without a doubt, the best. They made us feel at home. We'll be back for sure!

Two nights incredibly well enjoyed! The hostess was super helpful and kind (we even had an offer of coffee capsules and a bottle of wine❤️), the space was totally clean, it was welcoming, and with all the necessary essentials. We hope to repeat the experience. I recommend

Great quiet place. Very close by car to Ponte de Lima and the ecovia and the Lima River. A big half hour drive from the beaches and the ocean. The house is nickel and large enough for a family of 4. Rooms are very cool at night. For the intrepid, the small river that offers an almost private swim is a 5-minute walk from the house. The house is well equipped to make food yourself. Filipe is very welcoming and gave us plenty of useful information.

Our stay at Marta’s place was bang on, the place is just incredible. One of the most peaceful times of my life ! Enjoying the pool, the river for swimming and fishing, the outside oven and barbecue. We feel bad that that we didn’t even use the house that much because the house is stunning too. 5 stars all the way, I highly recommend this place and will now dream of having one like this.

It's never happened to me since I've been renting houses, but I would have given it 10 stars out of 5 without hesitation. The house is beautiful, peaceful, it perfectly combines the old and the new giving the villa in the eucalyptus a heavenly feel. The pool is very large and the sunsets are breathtaking. But that's about the house. The owners are just as amazing. They adapted to my setbacks and were supportive throughout the stay. Thanks for that :)
