House holiday rentals in Parke County

Our stay was great and very comfortable. There was lots of space with entertainment options for our small and older children, while offering gathering areas for the adults in our extended family stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. The pool was one of our main attractions and unfortunately it had some cleaning issues that did require a pool service to assist. Otherwise, the pool does have some bolts that are not flush with the concrete and can cut toes. The tiles in the pool are falling off and we also found these with our feet at the bottom of the pool. The home owners assured us that a new pool liner is coming which should solve this issue. Overall, we had a great stay and appreciated the responsiveness of our hosts and their hospitality.

This house more than meets expectations, the property is absolutely beautiful. There were 14 of us between two families, and no one was ever bored. Between the lake, the pool, the back yard, and the house itself, there was so much to do. There is a ton of seating inside and out, plenty of room in the kitchen for cooking, a huge and comfy sectional and chairs in the living room where we played a ton of games. Beds were comfy, bathrooms were plentiful and well maintained. The star of the show is the lake and the backyard, beautiful views and lovely landscaping made it an oasis in which to relax or fish or play lawn games. And when we had an incident where we broke something pretty important, the owner was amazingly calm and understanding, and just jumped into action to take care of it. I highly recommend this place, it was truly a wonderful weekend with our family friends and I would definitely return.

Ran into some issues with the amenities, the host was quick and responsive to remedy the situation. This was a good location for a golf trip with several golf courses nearby.

We had a fantastic stay at Meggan’s place! She made check-in and check-out a breeze and was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our visit. Her communication made everything easy and stress-free. The house and property were absolutely beautiful—spacious, clean, and perfect for our group. There was plenty of room for everyone to get ready for our out-of-state wedding, which made a big difference during such a busy time. The yard was peaceful and relaxing, and the pool was a highlight—such a perfect spot to unwind. Highly recommend staying here if you're in the area. Awesome place! Bill is a great host and he decorates with real antiques and art. My family loved the place and the pool was awesome. The place is kept in tip top shape ! This was the third time we stayed at one of his multiple places in the area.

Loved our stay in their beautiful home. We were all in love with it and it was perfect for all of our needs. Great location if you’re planning on going on the river.

The house was very cozy and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed and the screened in porch was perfect for our rainy weekend. The stairs to the lake felt very steep and narrow but the cove once down to the lake was beautiful. The host was accommodating and friendly.

We chose this spot for a getaway with longtime friends and family and my 2 dogs. It could not have been more what we were looking for. Calm, secluded spot with privacy. Great yard for the dogs to run around in. Plenty of amenities and sleeping considerations. And, most of all, Erin was amazing. Super responsive and friendly. Everyone had an amazing time and couldn’t believe how perfect it was. We will almost certainly be making this trip a tradition :).

A wonderful graduation stay in a large home that fit the extended family of 11. A beautiful lake setting with awesome outdoor seating. The home was clean and had everything we needed, along with being spacious. Everyone loved the house and has left us with good memories.

Stacie is an incredible host. She is warm, friendly, responsive and provides useful information. Her place has the most amenities I have seen (and I’ve been in many Airbnbs). She has comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen, lots of good coffee, extra towels for bathroom, a beautiful yard to sit in and good WiFi. She quickly resolves any needs and is open to feedback. If I go to that area again, I will definitely rent her place. I can’t recommend it enough!

Our stay at this Airbnb near Turkey Run was fantastic, earning a solid 5 stars from us! The location simply can't be beat for exploring the park – we loved being super close to the trails, which made our hiking adventures so convenient. The house itself had some standout features that made our trip even more enjoyable. The pizza oven was a huge hit and provided some delicious, fun evenings. We also spent a ton of time relaxing on the screened-in porch, which was perfect for enjoying the outdoors without any bugs. Evenings were made perfect by the fire pit, where we roasted marshmallows and shared stories under the stars. It’s the perfect spot for getting large families together. We’ll definitely be back!
