Ecological Nature Retreat

Come and stay in our ecologically renovated stone farm house surrounded by a terraced garden and beautiful views of undulating countryside. La Prade is set in an incredibly peaceful area of the Lot. There is a huge selection of walks from the gîte using ancient pathways, crossing brooks, streams and waterfalls. The Tolerme lake nearby is the perfect place for a day out, with a supervised swimming area for children, water sports, restaurants and a path around the lake, which is buggy friendly.

I built my wooden house entirely and finished it in early 2024. I offer it for rent during the high summer season but also during the other 3 seasons which each offer their advantages. The creation of the sauna with its wood stove is to be able to enjoy the swimming pool in all seasons. (paid option) The swimming pool is not overlooked and offers a beautiful view of the valley and its natural landscape. This valley is also home to the village of Conques and its magnificent abbey church.

From your terrace, you will have a magnificent view of the Cantal. You will have 3 bedrooms, a master bedroom with a king-size bed, and the other two with 2 beds of 90 cm each. The main living area is under the roof; the other two bedrooms are on lower levels (triplex). The exposed beams create a very cozy chalet atmosphere. You will be in an old building (18th century) with 3 levels in its one-hectare landscaped park, with a games room, swimming pool, ping pong table, and a boules court.
