Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Parole

Staying at Chris’s house was perfect for our family. It was an easy drive to Annapolis where we got to explore. The house had everything that was listed and we really enjoyed it for extended family gathering.

This place is the best!! My daughter graduated from Howard University this past week so we needed a larger home for our stay. The greenery surrounding the property is beautiful. The home is large enough to host a large family but cozy enough to still feel close. Danielle keeps the pool and jacuzzi clean and functional for all guests. I could go on and on… you won’t regret staying here!!

After losing out on three different rentals we found this house. We were staying the week for our son’s graduation from the Naval Academy. It was perfect for our family. We didn’t care about being in downtown Annapolis and this place is perfect for some quiet time and relaxing from the hustle and bustle of graduation week. Would recommend this place for everybody. Ronny’s place was more than enough space for our family. Ronny was responsive and even offered early check-in, even though I didn’t end up using it. One thing to note is that the basement room is extremely cold, we think because it’s not carpeted and it has a door that leads right outside. We ended up sleeping in the basement living room after we found out it had a fireplace and the couch was a pull-out sofa.

Very peaceful surroundings, you are out on a point overlooking the bay, with lots of outside space to relax in the mornings to enjoy your morning tea/coffee. I loved having the real fireplace and enjoyed an evening fire on the more chillier evenings. Felt at home and comfy.

It is a wonderful place to stay while attending a wedding week with family. Tamara was very easy to reach and always willing to provide her recommendations for places to eat. Eric’s place is wonderful in a very quaint neighborhood! Communication with Eric was excellent. The home is very comfortable and accommodating for families and large groups visiting. We were in town checking out the DC sites and the proximity from the home to the Glenmont Metro was close and easy. The kitchen is well equipped with just about every appliance or cooking utensil you could need to whip up a meal. There’s two washer and dryers and plenty of towels which is really convenient for large groups. The backyard hot tub was nice for relaxing especially after a 20,000 step day exploring DC (phew!) I would most definitely recommend this home and host!

Had a wedding at the Chesapeake yacht club and its location worked great! Beat staying in a noisy hotel. Loved sitting on the dock. Very quiet place to relax. House looks small but that is deceiving. Place has room for everyone to Find their own quite relaxing space.

This is a great place to stay and tour the DC Metro area - provided you have a car. Most days it would take us 30 minutes to get to and from DC though if we hit rush-hour, it was as long as an hour. The space is tidy and great. My kids love the pool, though it was a little cold for me-they swam there every night. Jennifer is great to communicate if you have any needs she gets stuff done right away. Note that there is only one bathroom, which can be a pain if you have a full house of six people. The washer and dryer are small so it will take you longer if you’re used to a full size. She had all the cooking methods and appliances available. The theater room has Netflix and Amazon prime ready for you to watch a show. There is even a popcorn maker. We did not use the gym, but it was nice - comparable to a small hotel gym. Property is in the owner’s basement, so there is some sound from upstairs as identified in the listing. Host stays out of your way but is there if you need anything.

Had an amazing stay here! Bob and Beth were extremely responsive hosts and provided a lot of clear instructions on how to find the carriage house. It was very clean and spacious and had a great coffee set up. The surrounding gardens are so lovely! Was quiet and walkable to the local downtown area

Highly recommend Ann’s place! We traveled with our toddler, and it was perfect for him. They supplied a pack and play and tons of board books. My only thing to note is that the walkway to the space is not paved so be aware with small children and suitcases.

John and Adam were excellent hosts. There were very responsive to my questions and issues. I loved the grounds and very well stocked kitchen. I would gladly stay there again.

Trish’s place was very clean , cozy and spacious! She is a very polite host and we would certainly come back if visiting Bethesda again!

I came back just a few days later because I could not stop thinking about this place. The gas fireplace once again created the perfect cozy environment after long workdays. The unit is not only beautiful but also perfectly equipped for an extended stay. Everything I needed to feel settled and focused was already there. The hosts were just as wonderful the second time. Still one of my favorite stays in DC.

We had a wonderful stay at Scott's apartment for our sightseeing trip to DC. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. It was located in a calm residential neighborhood while still being well connected to public transport and nearby dining options. Scott was very helpful and responsive. We would definitely recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Check in was easy and communication with Joseph was excellent. The location is great! Beautiful, quiet neighborhood close to shops, restaurants, parks, and the Metro. The place was very well equipped with a full kitchen and private/separate bedroom. The private patio was nice as well. I would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Washington DC.

Fantastic place to stay for us. We were on the go constantly from one event to the next and Heather’s place was perfectly located for us to freshen up and change easily. There were plenty of restaurants and stores right nearby as well. The proximity to the metro was amazing. After leaving late one night from an event, we realized just how easy and shorter than expected the walk back to the house was. We couldn’t have chosen a better spot for this trip. We’d definitely come back.

This is truly one of the most beautiful homes I have ever been inside. The host was beyond helpful and made me feel very welcome. if I had a complaint it would be having to check out. This stay was truly worth every dollar spent

The place has great views on a nice end lot property; super natural light, high ceilings with comfortable beds! Highly recommended.

This home is so tastefully decorated and comfortable. Even though it's an older home with original wood on floors and stairs, the wall finishes looks fairly fresh and the kitchen is all upgraded with current amenities. I was pleasantly surprised that it had a large backyard with lawn furniture, grass and trees. The sun room was so comfortable for seating and playing cards, and the office had a nice futon-type bed that folded out for extra sleeping space. The primary bedroom, walk in closet, and bath are super large and beautiful. Lots of restaurants were within a mile of the house, including a Trader Joe's. The only drawback was car sounds at night from Washington Blvd but we got used to it. During our reservation process, Aman addressed my many questions quickly and fully, particularly in terms of what they had for my 1 year old grandson (toys, high chair, port a crib). During our stay, we also communicated easily a few times as questions came up.

I had an outstanding stay at Mitri’s place. Mitri was incredibly responsive and made the check-in process smooth and hassle-free. The space itself was immaculate, thoughtfully decorated, and stocked with all the essentials. The location was perfect—quiet yet close to local attractions and amenities. I particularly appreciated the comfortable room and shared spaces, and the attention to detail that made it feel like a home away from home. I highly recommend Mitri’s place for anyone looking for a top-notch experience. I will definitely be returning!

Janelle was very responsive and very accommodating. She responded immediately to every question!

Was a great stay overall, some little repairs needed around the house though. The outside porch doorknob was broken and also an almirah door in one of the rooms.
