Holiday rentals with breakfast in Patrick County

From the moment we stepped over the threshold, we felt happy. Erynn's friends were playing music! Her books were so eclectic and wonderful that I wish we were snowbound and did not have to continue our journey. Everything worked beautifully, of course. But our delight goes far beyond any standard list. I'll name two: lovely antique salt and pepper shaker on the silver tray. She made scones ahead, froze them, then they were baked fresh for our morning. The willow limbs danced in the wind and rain but we were cozy and peaceful and buoyed in Erynn's

The house is very nice - spacious & well appointed. It easily accommodated our large family. It’s located on a quiet cove. The boat dock is well furnished, absolutely amazing & where we ended up spending most of our time. However, it is not easily accessible. It’s a long & steep walk/drive. Fortunately, we had 4 wheel drive trucks that we used to transport people and coolers up & down. A very kind neighbor allowed us to use his boat dock so we could get my elderly mother in law to and from the dock. Aside from it being a little difficult for some to access, it’s a wonderful place. The boat dock & location back in a quiet cove is hard to beat. We also enjoyed boating over to Magnum’s Marina which is right down the cove.

This was the perfect home for my stay in Willis! It was exactly as advertised. It was an extremely convenient location for me and would definitely book again!

The place was beautiful, well maintained and had everything we needed as guests that could have forgotten during our packing. Amazing location for a weekend in nature! I do not generally leave reviews but the service and communication for this location was beyond outstanding. I had a tough arrival, many things had happened during my travel day that already had me off edge. When I Arrived at "the location",I was so overwhelmed I overlooked the signs and my frustration did not allow me to take the time to look and find the house. However, I called the phone number provided and despite my not so friendly approach at the moment, the host on the other end of the phone kept calm and guided me all the way till I got through the door. The host then took the time to call again a few hours later to ensure everything was ok and that I was feeling better. They went the extra mile to ensure our safety and to effectively and promptly communicate and thats more than expected.

Carole’s place was exactly as advertised - a guest room in her peaceful home on a quiet farm stay. I was in the area with plans from fairly early AM to late PM and needed a spot to lay my head each night and Carole’s place delivered exactly what I needed.

This is a breath taking air bnb and truly a special place to stay. My family is from the area so we visit often and this will definitely be on our list to stay next time. You can’t be the private lot, fishing pond and beautiful farm house. Love love love!

My family and I travel to Martinsville often to visit family. This place was a great find. The location was great , we were close to all the places we needed to go. We could walk to the coffee shops and stores. The place was very clean and quiet and was stocked with all amenities you would need. Stephen was a great host, answered any questions that i asked quickly. I would stay here again next time i travel to Martinsville

We enjoyed staying here. The interior of the loft apartment was clean, well decorated, stocked with whatever you’ll need, and the included laundry room was a major plus. The location is in close proximity to a major grocery store, and downtown Floyd is walkable where there’s a lot of fun things to do and see. We ran into a few small issues while staying, and the owner was quick to communicate and resolve them. Would definitely stay here again!

My son has thoroughly enjoyed his home away from home at Brenda’s place while attending college at Patrick & Henry’s Rwcing College of Virginia. He’ll be back next semester, too! Brenda and her family are wonderful hosts.

First, the hosts are great! We were greeted when we arrived and shown around - both the house and the property are beautiful! There’s a lot of attention to detail and you can tell they really enjoy hosting people. The room was very clean and the bed was super comfy, too! The area nearby is stunning and full of things to explore as well. We had a great time and definitely recommend!

Enjoyed our short, sweet stay at Stuart Hill which was above and beyond expectations with bird watching on the front porch, baby deer spotting on the back path, great night sleep, and delicious healthy breakfast to start our day! We were just passing through to get to a meeting but so enjoyed our time with these amazing hosts we need to come back. We were blessed to find their BNB

Cindy's BnB at One Starling in Uptown Martinsville is a great 100-year-old home with large rooms and everything you need for a comfortable stay. My son and I stayed two nights while in town for a NASCAR weekend at Martinsville Speedway. The location was easy to find, has plenty of off-street parking, and was a perfect distance from the track (not too close, but easy to get there in 10 minutes). The home is nicely decorated and very tidy. Cindy's communication was great and we were lucky to meet her when we arrived on a Friday afternoon. I'm sure the process would have been seamless with the passcode locks on the outside door as well as the bedroom door, even if she had not been there for check-in. We will stay again if we visit Martinsville in the future.

Kim and Rodger’s hospitality go above and beyond anything I’ve experienced. The location was perfect for star gazing out on the patio, or shopping in near by Floyd. We absolutely adored their dog piglet who we couldn’t love on enough! Communication is never a problem, Kim is happy to help with anything during your stay. We loved this slice of paradise and will be returning soon!

Clean, comfortable, great food homemade breakfasts, and hospitable. If you are fishing the Smith this is a great base camp.

What a beautiful venue! We stayed there to attend Rooster Walk (RW), a local annual (and awesome!) music festival. It was the perfect location: right next to the main road that took us almost directly to the festival. The house is wonderfully maintained...with all the amenities you need in a wonderful turn of the (last) century home. The room (2-room suite, actually) was perfect for us, Cindy was very proactive in offering her help, the entry instructions were clear, and the departure instructions were easy to follow. Everything about this stay was "spot-on" for us. We will be back again next year for RW16...and will be booking again with Cindy.

Darlene and Dave were an absolute joy. My wife and I couldn't have asked for a better host or place to stay. Everything was picturesque and serene. The accommodations were lovely. This a true gem to behold. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Darlene and Dave are a class act.
