“Casa Αυλή” is a traditional stone house in the Turkish-era neighborhood of Epano Archanes, near the archaeological remains of the Minoan palace. The house is located in the central area of Archanes and it has been renovated maintaining the traditional style of the area. “Casa Αυλή” has the characteristic, much loved by us, of allowing a completely outdoor life that revolves around the central kitchen, as if it were a traditional “agorà”.

The house is situated in the small, quiet settlement of Knossos, 100 metres from the archaeological site of Knossos. The house combines easy access to either the city and the national road or nearby beaches, and the tranquility of life close to nature. The house has recently been renovated with great care by its owners so as to provide guests with contemporary amenities, privacy, and a relaxed atmosphere. The house is also pet-friendly.

A staircase leads to the studio and the huge roof terrace, which is only available to guests. Located in the middle of the old town, everything is within walking distance. Our house is located in a very quiet place, outside the village of Archana. It is our permanent residence and we rent an independent studio on the ground floor. It has an independent entrance. It is also extremely cool throughout the summer. It has a large garden with a lawn and a tree house.
