This is the absolute BEST place to stay near the gocta waterfall!!! You will have the most incredible panoramic views right from your bedroom! We were in AWE every time we looked out the window or stepped out the back door! It’s better than you an imagine. Mario’s place is already on the walking trail to the water fall so it is really easy to walk from there! Mario is the most INCREDIBLE host I’ve ever met! He is so cool, fun, accommodating, flexible, caring and generous! AND he makes the best food! Make sure to try his homemade pizza! I would recommend this place 200%! Can’t wait to go back one day! Thanks Mario for everything! What an incredible experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Bertha met us at the entrance even though our bus was very late. She also called a mototaxi for one of our excursions. We enjoyed her dogs, and her well-supplied kitchen. She made sure we had plenty of potable water. After the first night we learned how to attract the night bugs to the bathroom by leaving only the bathroom light on. Be sure not to miss Ashpachaca right next door!

This was one of the most beautiful houses in the most beautiful surroundings we've ever been in. If Peru weren't so far away, this would be our new home. Thanks Bruno for sharing it.
