Willa Merilä

The entire cottage and yard are available to guests. There is space for a car in the yard, I recommend renting a car, the driving time is only an hour from the center of Rovaniemi. The cottage is located in a beautiful place by the river. Forest and nature are within walking distance and there is a public campfire place nearby where you can go and fry sausages and enjoy the campfire. In winter, you can look at the stars in the sky and search for the northern lights from the large windows of the cottage. The cottage has a sofa bed that is 140 cm wide.

Villa Siimes Ranua

Surrounded by state lands, a dream home for nature lovers where you can reach a number of stunning nature experiences. Within a radius of about a half-hour drive, Kivalo, Kaihuanvaara, Auttiköki, Soppaan, and Korouoma hiking trails are located. From almost the door, there's a ski track and a snowmobile trail. Also nearby is the fishy Simojärvi. It's less than an hour to the village of Ranua and the zoo. Rovaniemi and Kemijärvi drive for 1.5 hours. The nearest shops can be reached in half an hour.

Charming cottage with all the amenities on a large plot. The distance to the center of Rovaniemi is only about 25 km. The distance to Santa Claus Village or the airport is also about 25 km. No public transport. The roads are well maintained even in winter. The cottage is easy to get to. If you wish, transportation can be arranged by Mercedes Benz Vito car for an additional fee. Rentoudu ja nauti lomastasi uudessa ja täysin varustetussa hirsimökissä. Talo sijaitsee järven rannalla, rauhaisalla paikalla luonnon keskellä, 58km (50min.) Rovaniemeltä. Mökistä upeat näkymät järvelle. Voit ulkoilla lumikengillä järven jäällä. Lapsille löytyy myös pulkat ja lumivälineitä viihtymiseen. Revontuliakin näkyy sään salliessa. Arctic Heather Hideaway is a peaceful 21.5 m² guesthouse just 10 km from Rovaniemi center and 6 km from Santa Claus Village and Rovaniemi Airport. It offers a cozy living area with a double bed, light kitchenette, and private bathroom. Guests can relax in a traditional wood-heated sauna prepared by the hosts. The safe and quiet surroundings let you enjoy Lapland’s nature at your doorstep, with chances to see reindeer or the northern lights right from the yard.

Glamping in Aurora Igloo

Experience our unique Aurora igloo. Clamping near the city centre but still next to the forest. See and feel the frost around you but enjoy the warmness of the real fire and down blanket. Enjoy Lapland! We have only one igloo in our garden and it is one of a kind! You may also use the garden around for winter fun activities. We have sledges and shuffles for your use. There is no jacuzzi/hot tub or sauna available in this accommodation I am afraid.

Holiday Home Lumimarja

Welcome to the middle of nature to enjoy the cozy atmosphere of a log cabin. This holiday home, built in 2013, is located only about a 30-minute drive from the center of Rovaniemi and Santa Claus Village. The cabin has two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a fireplace, and a wood-fired sauna where you can experience the Finnish sauna culture. There is also a private lean-to (laavu) on the premises.

An atmospheric house on the shore of the Kemijoki River

The naturally beautiful Kemijoki beach is about an hour's drive from Rovaniemi, 65 km towards Kuusamo. I recommend renting a car. Fully equipped 75 m2 cottage with two bedrooms, kitchen, sauna, bathroom, porch and terrace. There is a beach near the cottage (about 700 m). Opportunities for snowmobiling, fishing, berry picking and hunting, as well as hiking. There is a boat launch about 1.2 km away.

Boxing mackle

A cottage in a great location on the shore of Lake Simo. Suitable for groups of two or three. Good fishing, hunting and berry areas next door. Peaceful location. Sauna in the same building. Tidy bio toilet. Solar power, you can charge your phone and computer. Gas stove. Door and windows replaced on the side of the cottage, and added extra thermal insulation inside. Can also stay in winter.

Traditional Finnish cottage

This traditional Finnish cottage is located by the Lake Norvajärvi 15 km from the center of Rovaniemi and 10 km from the airport. We have renovated the cottage in summer and fall 2019&2022 for your better use. Here you can feel the Finnish cottage culture and enjoy the peace of nature and silence. If the weather is good for the Northern lights and you want to see them this is the place.
