Chris and Julie were very welcoming, helpful, kind and responsive during our time at their beautiful property. The property is an amazing place, very private and set back off the road right by a fresh water creek, nestled in the hills and surrounded by nature. There is a conscious eco-lodge feel to the place and much has been done to give the place a natural and peaceful feel, including natural bedding and products in a space that has everything you need with a fully equipped kitchen. The location is great too, with the town of Betws-y-Coed only about 15 minutes away and various Snowdon summit tracks not too far beyond that. A big thank you to Chris & Julie - I highly recommend staying at this beautiful property.

Really enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful and picturesque. Although hosts live on same block we only saw them when arriving or leaving. Driveway is narrow. Garden is virtually private for guests use and has great outlook over (up?) mountains and across stream, which provides a pleasant lullaby at night. Cottage provides all you need for a comfortable stay, except a washing machine, which wouldn't fit. However, Lisa did offer to run a wash through her machine for us if needed. Great place to stay for climbing, walking and enjoying Snowdonia. Comfortable for two, squeezy for four, unless you're really good friends! Lisa was very helpful and responsive to requests but did not intrude. She quickly changed the heating to suit us during a chilly couple of days. Good value and highly recommended.

Myself and my friend stayed at Catrins cabin for 3 nights and it was absolutely perfect! The cabin itself it equipped with everything you need and is the perfect base the photos don’t really show this place to its full potential so do not be put off! The location of the cabin is a ten minute drive from the Pen-Y-Pass car park if you are exploring the national park but equally you can do multiple walks from the front door of the cabin. Tryfan is opposite the cabin and is the perfect view after a long day of walking as are the sheep grazing outside and swallows diving down to catch bugs. I would recommend Catrins cabin to anyone and will absolutely be going back for another visit when I can!
