Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Penebel

Bawa’s place was one of the most beautiful places I stayed at in Bali. The location was very private, the only sounds you could hear during this stay were nature sounds (birds, rains). It’s 20 minutes away from Ubud center which made everything very accessible. There are nice cafes at walkable distance as well. The entire family was so welcoming and loving, they made me feel at home as soon as I reached. They always greeted me with morning smiles and were very helpful in all aspects. The kitchen is outside the room which helped keeping the room insect-free! You can also rent scooter directly from them at far better costs than the other renting places. Oh, and the room is huge and so is the bathroom. Beautiful and squeaky clean! We met a serious accident on our way to Sukasada and Bawa was always so responsive even when we were in a completely far away city. Wonderful villa and wonderful staff there to make sure you have a great stay. The villa was well furnished and maintained. The pool and yard are a great size. The restaurant at the bottom of the rose gives you 10% off for staying at the villa and food was great too! The staff also arranged a scooter hire for us and provide complimentary cleaning mid stay. There is drinking water provided also. They even set up a cot for our baby - he had the best time too! Balian is a beautiful and quiet place to visit in Bali. Would definitely recommend this villa and look forward to staying here again.

I had an amazing stay here! The place is exactly as shown in the pictures. Clean, well-maintained, and with a minimalist design. The staff were super friendly and made me feel right at home. The apartment had everything I needed: a cozy living room, kitchen, dining area, comfy bedroom, and a spotless bathroom. The private pool was a great bonus. The location is perfect, with beaches, beach clubs, minimarkets, restaurants, coffee shops, and clinics all nearby. Getting around was easy. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Lalasa’s was exactly as pictured/described. The villa its self was absolutely beautiful and exactly as pictured. The onsite restaurant was great and had a large selection of food to choose from for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The location was perfect, walking distance to shops/restaurants and a short scooter ride to some of the major attractions like Finn’s Beach club or Atlas. Most importantly, the staff at Lalasa’s were incredible. Nothing was ever too much for them and they were always happy to help whether that was to provide recommendations or assist if we needed something. Without a doubt I’d stay at Lalasa’s again on my next trip to Canggu, it was a 11/10 experience, thank you guys!

What a nice place to stay! The location is ideal: quietly situated, yet close to the cozy spots of Sanur. Other places around Denpasar are also easily accessible from here, for example, by scooter or Gojek/Grab taxi. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. The garden and swimming pool are beautifully landscaped and well maintained. After only two hours, we have booked a number of days. That says enough, right? Carole is also very involved and helpful. She is easily accessible for questions about the area or whatever you need. We are very happy that we have chosen this place to relax for a week!

Great value for money, David was a fantastic host always willing to help when you need it, housekeeping came daily to make bed, refresh towels if needed and empty trash, even washed our dishes for us which was a delightful touch. Bathroom is pretty soap scum heavy but that’s not unusual in Bali, still smelt fresh. Location was super convenient, great spot for restaurants and access to the beach, pool facilities were fantastic although pool could be open a little later to accommodate for a post dinner swim. Laundry and coffee shop directly across the road which was nice and convenient for our stay. Very family friendly location. Absolutely would stay here again, well worth the price it is listed for.

Wayan was a very communicative host. The space was very clean and beautiful. It is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood and there is a coffee shop 1 minute down the road that had the best coffee in Ubud! Someone mentioned the mosquitoes in a previous review and we didn't have issues because we closed off the rooms/bathrooms at night and we were fine! The absolute only thing that we didn't love was how hard the beds were. Someone mentioned the beds before but we never expected this level of hardness. If firm beds hurt your back then this is not the place for you. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Ubud, it's very close to everything Ubud has to offer but still tucked away from the busyness.

I stayed here for 3 weeks and had a great time. The room is on the second floor of the building. It is very spacious, with plenty of daylight. There is a separate wardrobe area, a separate excellent shower, kitchen, terrace and a shared pool downstairs. The Internet was fast, there were no problems. A convenient workplace for working with a laptop. The air conditioner operates quietly, maintaining a comfortable temperature. There is no better location, Umalas - 5 minutes by bike, Canggu 10-15 minutes, Seminyak/Kuta - 10-15 minutes. There are many cafes and halls nearby. I would like to mention the friendly hosts, who were attentive to any request, gave recommendations in terms of places. In terms of noise, it seemed noisy only on the first day, when the locals arranged a loud party with music nearby. The rest of the time, only a few roosters were heard in the morning and wildlife like frogs in the forest)) which is normal for Bali. The house is far from the main roads, so motorcycles, if they do ride, are very rare, faintly audible and not annoying. Thank you for having us!

I loved my stay in this nest in the heart of Penestanan. It felt authentic to live within a Balinese compound while at the same time being in a bubble of comfort and beauty. The location is excellent. If you know Penestanan a bit, it cannot be better. Right at the heart of the neighborhood. Love the vibe there. The space is both functional and nicely decorated (the bedroom door is wonderful!). I truly enjoyed being there for 3 nights. I recommend this place and would come back again.

Great place to stay, good central location, daily breakfast and friendly team

This has become my go-to place when I’m in town. The main reason is Sri, one of the best hosts I’ve ever had. She’s always there to help me out if I need anything.
