Hotel holiday rentals in Penobscot River

Cute little inn with everything you need. Kind of in the middle of nowhere. Very remote feel which is great. Megan and her cousin and the folks there were very hospitable. Only issue i had was with the WiFi. As I had to take a few zoom calls it kept going in and out. Otherwise the place is awesome, highly recommend.

This was a perfect stay close to Houlton, and was clean, and everyone was friendly! Check-in was easy. The town is simple but has a few stores for picking up last minute groceries and Cindy’s was a perfect diner for breakfast! Perfect stay!

The stay here was beautiful! We only stayed one night but definitely would’ve loved to stay longer. It was such a peaceful, clean, and charming experience!

I can’t say enough good things about my stay here. The location is super close to Acadia National Park. The room we stayed in was so cozy, clean and felt so homey. We loved the breakfast the next morning, the blueberry muffins were to die for. I wish we were able to stay here for more than 1 night. If you’re thinking about staying here.. you most definitely should!

Beautiful comfortable place to stay. Roomy bathroom with bath. Small kitchen with basic utensils which we used for a simple dinner one evening instead of eating out. We were tempted to make use of the fireplace because it was lovely but too tired after hiking all day!

What a great place! Walking distance to everything so we didn't have to worry about parking. Clean, comfortable room with everything we needed. Breakfast included fresh omelets made to order by Annie. She was wonderful and started our day right! The hot tub was pleasant and the welcome glass of wine was appreciated. We hope to come stay again!

Meeting Leslie and staying/ dining in her Ironbound Restaurant & Inn was a highlight of our trip to Maine. We arrived a few hours before the dinner and Leslie introduced us a nice walk nearby to the ocean side before we had dinner at the restaurant. The room was clean and well decorated, full of Leslie’s personal touch that shows her great art taste. In the room we also found a print out of her great tips about exploring the Acadia area that you can hardly get elsewhere. Super great experience and I highly recommend!

great place to unwind after a long day of Riding the motorcycle

We were in a tight spot with another rental that fell through and were really happy to find this with just a few hours notice. The apartment is nice and the hot tub, pool, and other amenities were great. I think the price is out of line with other two-bedroom options but we were desperate due to the last-minute situation. Note the kitchen has good tools, pots, pans, etc. for meal prep but there are no spices, oils, plastic wrap, etc. as with other AirBNB rentals. Maybe because this rental isn’t booked very often? The massage chair was a HUGE hit with all of us after hiking around all day. The location is perfect for walking to the waterfront or downtown and the bus pick up is very close.

The place was nice and clean and their response time was pretty good. The only thing I would have liked to have known before booking the place was that the condo was on the third floor with no elevators. Besides that, everything else was nice.

Great place to stay for Acadia NP. It’s minutes from the park, has parking, good wifi, and necessary amenities (hot tea and coffee, gym, 24/7 front desk). Our room had a balcony with great view of the coast and islands. The only thing I’d call out, which is similar to other reviews, is that the furniture is a bit outdated. Kinda has a bit of a musty smell / situation to it. Other than that, we loved it!

I initially booked the first floor of the building but they stated that I was upgraded to the third when checking in. It was worth it since the view from the balcony is absolutely gorgeous! It was impossible to not give this stay five stars especially for that reason. They gave me clear instructions on how to get to the room and an overview of all the amenities around the area. Staff were friendly in general too. Would stay again!

This was my 1st experience with Airbnb and 5 stars amazing experience I will never forget . This was my 1st vacation in over 8 yrs of working 2 jobs and my birthday trip and it was a trip of a lifetime for me . Relaxing, great adventures at Ar. National park and this location was perfect . The rates were reasonable . Very private . They had amazing spotless property with hot tub and pool plus more and the staff were so amazing and kind . My host went out of his way to help me print reservations for the national park . I will be returning not only to bar harbor and will stay at Arcadia resort world again

We would absolutely stay again! The record player in the room is a great touch and everything you need is conveniently in the room. Alex is a great host and very welcoming!

We stopped here while driving through Maine during our honeymoon and it’s a great place to stay for the night!

Space was warm and clean.

Was hesitant to stay here as it seems like a newly remodeled place that just opened and had little reviews...but it was great! Simple, non-cluttered room with hot water, tv with lots of streaming services, a heater to keep you cozy, a fridge, microwave, and even a coffee maker. Worked well, even if 35 minutes away, for our day trips to Acadia!

This is s classic motel. microwave and fridge in room. access to the room is via code. Did not see the host during our stay, but he was responsive to our questions before we arrived.

Cute motel just outside of Bar Harbor. Easy to get in, comfortable room. Five minute drive from the visitors center at Acadia. Great stay!

Great place to stay for my quick trip to Acadia. Only a 30 minutes drive to get to the park and Bar Harbor, especially if you want a simpler option but still close enough to everything. Very easy to find and exactly like the photos. Off a main road but still very quiet and the bed was very cozy.

Neat set up and great location. Right next to ATV trail. Extremely responsive host. Location and room was exactly as advertised. Will absolutely recommend as well as stay there again.
