The Farmhouse at Riverbend is one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed. The beautiful photos can hardly do it justice. The grounds are stunning. We enjoyed a lightning storm from the porch one night, and a vibrant sunset by campfire the next. During the day, we hiked the trails around the expansive property and ventured into town. The Farmhouse itself is immaculate; total comfort and luxury. Antiques interspersed with collected natural and vintage items really made this farmhouse feel like home. The owners could not have been more lovely, helpful and responsive. We can’t wait to go back for a longer retreat.

Place was very clean which is important to me. It was peaceful and comfortable. Everything was as pictured and we had a wonderful stay!

We really liked the farm and seeing the cows, horses, and turkeys. The countryside is so peaceful and you can see trees to the horizon. The golf cart tour is a great opportunity to get a feel for the farm’s large acreage (as the cottage is in the front by the driveway entrance) and we would recommend it. One small thing is the cottage is not completely bug proof so just be prepared for that part of country life but the self-made shower has terrific water pressure better than most hotels!
