My girlfriend and I had a wonderful first getaway at Sarah’s place. The property was peaceful, private, and the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We had a great time visiting Na-Tah-Ka, exploring Ludington, the Silver Lake Sand Dunes, and more — but some of our favorite moments were just spent enjoying the quiet beauty of the property itself. We’ll definitely be back to soak in the tranquility and natural surroundings again. Sarah was a kind and responsive host, and her place is absolutely worth the stay. 🌲

Cozy camper with all the luxuries of home.

Unfortunately it was raining when we arrived. Maria had such a nice setup with the picnic table, corn hole and fire pit. We only wish we could have enjoyed it. It was certainly a cozy camper and we felt right at home. The "master" bed was comfortable but my friend said the top bunk had little to no cushion. The sheets/comforters as well as the bath towels were fresh and clean. There was no binder with instructions for checkin/checkout and these instructions, along with things to do in the area, were only communicated through Airbnb. I'm "old school" and would have preferred both forms as I missed seeing the official checkout information until after we left the place.

Marlene's cabin was a great place for a weekend away with my girlfriend and our dog. Marlene was very friendly and responsive leading up to the stay and even more so once we were there! The location was great, just a 10 minute drive into town but we really just stayed and relaxed at the cabin because it was so peaceful and quiet. The yard was big and felt private, the cabin was well decorated with comfy couches chairs (and bed). The kitchen was small but stocked with everything you need. Plenty of outdoor seating for grilling and building a fire in the evening (plenty of firewood too!). The chicken coop in the yard was super cool, but don't worry the rooster isn't very loud and didn't bother me (and I'm an notoriously light sleeper). Marlene even left us fresh eggs every morning! Can't say enough nice things about this cabin and Marlene (and her really nice dogs). Definitely recommend this place.

Emma’s place was perfect. The pictures did it justice, and it truly felt like a home away from home. With my sister and her family living in Ludington, we visit pretty often. If Emma’s place is available next time we come, I’m booking it!

What can I say. The whole experience was great. The location is awesome. The place was spotless and had everything you needed to feel right at home. The owners are awesome and extremely easy to work with. I 100% will be staying again.

Beautiful location everything you needed they had. Spacious upstairs my son setup his PlayStation in the extra living room which was a perfect area and let us have the main living space to ourselves lol. Bon fire pit made the night even better! Great location and a nice public beach near by. We loved it!

Harbor Lights, A Stone Cottage on Lake Michigan

We absolutely loved our stay at Harbor Lights - the house is quirky and charming, with remarkable craftsmanship, and anything we could possibly have needed during our stay was there. Having the owners (who are delightful) right next door was great - we barely saw them, but loved knowing they were so readily available if anything came up. And the beach access - and view of the lake from the yard! - was fantastic. (Yes, there are 217 steps, but it’s easily doable.) We saw a couple of other families at a distance during our week, but it felt very private, and the slope is very gradual, so there’s plenty of shallow water. We didn’t hear the pumped storage plant at all (either on the beach or at the house), and really enjoyed all the birds drawn to the plant’s breakwaters, and watching the crews doing repairs on the nets. All in all, a wonderful experience!
