This independent accommodation was designed on the ground floor of a beautiful stone barn located next to our house, facing Allagnat Castle. A large bay window overlooks the garden that you can enjoy. In the heart of the Chaîne des Puys, on the edge of a forest known for its magnificent beech forest, Allagnat is dominated by its medieval castle and surrounded by multiple hiking trails. New house, in the heart of the Auvergne Volcanoes, located between Chaîne des Puys and Massif du Sancy. Ideal for visiting the Puys mountain range, its volcanoes, its lakes, Vulcania... with family or friends. Close to the thermal resorts of La Bourboule (20 min) and Le Mont-Dore (25 min). And also cross-country skiing and snowshoeing resorts (Le Guéry 20 min, La Tour d'Auvergne 30 min) and alpine (Le Mont-Dore 30 min, Super-Besse 45 min and Chastreix 35 min), and many hiking trails.

In the heart of the Auvergne Volcano Park, in a small village halfway between the Puys Range and the Sancy Massif, come and find peace in a fully renovated Auvergne house with 3 bedrooms. In summer, you will find many hiking or mountain biking trails to do in the different massifs. In winter, come and discover the Cap Guéry area with its cross-country skiing or snowshoeing trails 15 minutes away, and the Mont-Dore resort with its downhill skiing 25 minutes away.

In summer, it is the departure of circuits to discover the Domes Sancy region. In winter, it is located 15 minutes from the Cap Guery mountain center, Nordic area with Nordic ski trails, snowshoeing, dog sled rides.

Cécile and Yann welcome you for a quiet stay on a one hectare plot, wooded, with its pond and pontoon, ideal for good times as a couple or with family.

Towels, sheets and cleaning included

Total price includes bed sheets, towel and tea towel. You will stay in an apartment for 4 people plus a baby (cot and high chair provided) of 55 m2 with balcony on the 2nd and top floor (no elevator). It consists of a kitchen, two bedrooms, a living room and a bathroom/toilet (clawfoot bathtub). The house is composed of 2 apartments. Ours is on the 1st floor. We remain as discreet as possible to give you maximum use of the house and garden.

Typical Auvergne bread oven with breakfast

You will be staying at the "Clos des Murets", a former independent bread oven completely renovated in 2020, part of a 2500 m2 property. It includes a main room serving as a living room equipped with a sofa bed (140 cm bed) and a second bedroom (160 cm bed), a travertine bathroom equipped with a walk-in shower and a toilet. A spiral staircase will take you to the large bedroom with exposed stone. Breakfasts can be taken on the terrace.
