Holiday rentals with lake access in Perry County

We had a great time and would def return trip there!

Super fun rental! Never hurts to spoil yourself with a pool and hot tub combo, definitely worth the extra money if you have it to spend! Wendy has thoughtfully stocked this place with all the comforts of home!!

Had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend at this beautiful property near Buckeye Lake. The house was exactly as described: spacious, clean, and perfect for our group. The game room was a hit with our kids (as were smores over the fire pit), the hot tub was relaxing, and the location was convenient to most everything in the area. The peaceful setting by the canal was perfect for a quiet weekend away. The hosts were responsive and made check-in seamless. We appreciated them sharing the place with us.

Will place is beautiful, quiet, well organized and super clean. It also has a beautiful lake view. The beds are very comfortable with high quality linens. But what I loved the most was the quick positive response that I got from will. My family and I went to a graduation over the weekend, and the place we were supposed to stay at was over crowded. So 2:30 hrs before I get to Ohio, which was about 730pm I booked Will’s place. He approved the booking and told me the house will ready for me to check in at 10:30pm. It’s a 40 minutes drive to Columbus area, but I didn’t care about that . I’ll definitely book again whenever I’m in the area. Keep up the good job, and thank you for having me at your place.

Great weekend stay for a friends get together. Having four bedrooms and 2 baths made it really comfortable for 4 women. Nice neighborhood. Good location. A Kroger Marketplace close by to get grocery items. Also has a state liquor store in Kroger if you are looking to buy adult beverages. Near lake with walking area and pedestrian bridge. Backyard/ patio area peaceful and quiet. Enjoyed dinner at The Blue Heron, Pizza Cottage and old school diner breakfast at Our Lakeside Diner. Went to an outdoor concert on Saturday at Papa Boo’s. Great outdoor area on the lake. Good service, reasonable prices for drinks. Did not eat but food coming out to others looked delicious. Enjoyed our stay!

Went to the lake for a long weekend get away with family. Perfect location and great house, felt comfortable and enjoyed out time. Host provided great recommendations on local restaurants

Two of us stayed at Angi’s house for two weeks while taking a class nearby. Angi was a great communicator. She was very responsive when we had a small issue with a the thermostat and sent someone out to replace it immediately. The house is nicely decorated and well cared for. The immediate surrounds are not anything special but it is less than a block to the lake and its walkway which was great. There are a few restaurants and a brewery within close walking distance which is also nice.

Me & my boyfriend really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean & very quiet. The location was great, the nearby restaurants were very good. We’d come back again.

We were delighted with all of the extra attention to detail, thoughtful supplies/kitchen comfort items, and fresh linens/bath items were a bonus! As frequent travelers, our unit's updated decór, cleanliness, and simplicity were all greatly appreciated!

Perfect place to stay. We really just needed somewhere to sleep since we planned on hiking most of our trip. The place was clean and had things to do at the property too. The host provided recommendations and travel guides to help. Extremely close to the state park!

I cannot say enough great things about this home. We were charmed from the moment we walked in the door. Every detail was thought of, there were personal touches around every corner, and they went above and beyond with their generosity. From extra toiletries we may have forgotten, dog bowls if you bring yours, to baby gear if you forgot something at home. They even baked us cookies! We’ve stayed at some nice places, but none have been as thoughtful as Kelly’s. We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in town!

Super clean, and as described. Felt right at home, modern, functional and cozy. Had plenty of space for my family of 5 that included a 2 year old, and twin 4 month olds. WiFi was great to get work done especially in neat little office nook. We booked as a last minute holiday stay but would definitely return and look to stay here during the summer months to enjoy the lake and the local restaurants there.

Anchors Away was even nicer than expected. Our group of older women had everything we needed, and the home was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed gathering in the kitchen, living room and patio. Hosts were so flexible and responsive to our requests!

The cozy cottage at Buckeye Lake was the perfect getaway for a girls' weekend. There was ample space to relax and have fun; the accommodations were comfortable and welcoming. Staying in a home with recent kitchen and bath updates was a definite PLUS! This location is perfect if you are looking for a house with walking paths close by as well as nearby entertainment. We hope to return again soon and would highly recommend the Cozy 4 Bedroom Cottage to all of our friends and family!

We enjoyed our weekend getaway! The place was very clean and looked just like the pictures. The location was great, only 20-25 min away from all the hiking,adventures and stores if needed. Beautiful views and enjoyed the lake being right there. There were neighbors but they were a little distance away so that was nice as well! I would def recommend!

Homey. Felt like staying at a friends house with all of the extras. Lots of spices and leftover condiments, a few extra groceries in the fridge and freezer ( used some and left some), house just felt like you we welcome, not like a visitor, but like family. Close proximity to Dock #1 made it great to come and go as needed during a few days of great fishing.

Beautiful cabin and surroundings. The cabin is VERY nice, with a very warm and cozy atmosphere. The hot tub is outdoors, but very private, and it's all right across lake logan. Genuinely incredible stay and incredible host!

I absolutely plan on coming back to Sugar Maple cottage in the future. I would recommend for a Girls, Couples, or Family get away. The property is amazing and the cottage felt like home (but nicer LOL). LOVED the hot tub and fireplace after a day of hiking the property. So much to do we probably could have spent a week just exploring, never leaving the property.
