My sister and I loved it! We knew we were gonna enjoy our stay here but everything absolutely exceeded our expectations. The natural bridges are absolutely stunning and so peaceful. All the amenities are right there together, so many fun things to do without even leaving the property. The owners, Stan and Winnette were awesome, very friendly and helpful. The property manager, Vickie was also very helpful and kind. I highly recommend this place and would love to stay again sometime.

Great place!

We’ve booked twice with Aimee and will definitely book again! We couldn’t have asked for a better host. Aimee has always been very kind and responsive, and you can tell she wants the best experience for her guests. The cabin is spacious and sits on a beautiful, private stretch of creek. It was stocked with everything we could have possibly wanted, including creek chairs. We were also excited to see several new additions, like porch swings overlooking the water and a large picnic table and fire pit by the creek. Ingredients for S’more’s were even provided! This cabin is definitely a gem!

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect! The view alone was so incredible! We loved waking up to the sunset coming through the large windows every morning. The home was unbelievably perfect! We will definitely be back.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. This little gem of a property is 50 min and a universe away from Nashville. Our family of 4 stayed for a quiet weekend. The beds and linens are 5 star hotel worthy. The cabin decor is eclectic and stunning. The kitchen is lovely and well stocked. The layout is perfect for a family trip or for multiple friends to getaway for a weekend together. Because of how the cabin is situated on the property you truly feel like you are in a tree house. The deck by the creek is serene. I drank my coffee and watched the kids (try!) to catch fish. Alyssa was so warm and kind and generous. We will absolutely be staying again. Could not recommend it more highly!

Lovely, rustic cabin on a sprawling 100 acres with a variety of natural settings on property: woodland trails, open meadows, small, clean, well-designed pond for fishing, swimming or relaxing from multiple, shaded seating areas. Impressively designed and solidly built, rustic structures are scattered around the Rock 'N Refuge property, offering a variety of accommodations with modern amenities. The surrounding county offers many lovely, natural settings such as a lakefront swim beach at Nathan Bedford Forrest Park, boating and fishing on nearby lakes and rivers. The nearby Tumbling Creek (slightly off the beaten path) was our favorite spot with its crystal clear water and shallow sandbars, ideal for wading, rock hunting and soaking in the scenery. For nature lovers who appreciate the outdoors and a slower pace, this getaway is exceptional. Recommend packing outdoor essentials to take advantage of the surrounding, natural environment if rugged excursions are your thing!

We had a great time at Birdsong. Our cabin was perfect for us. The just was very helpful and friendly. It was so peaceful and very clean. We will be back!!!

This was the perfect relaxing retreat! We were in the area for a gender reveal, and enjoyed the quietness when we weren't running around. Good fishing from the dock, and so much wildlife to take in.

Great weekend friend getaway. Communication was smooth with Trish and I appreciate the attentiveness. The inside was comfy and well stocked. The windows were perfect while sitting on the super comfortable couch and looking out on to the water. I highly recommend this stay.

With limited hotel options in the area, this was a great place while in town for a wedding for one night. This was our first stay in a “tiny house” and we enjoyed it. It’s small and simple but that’s all we needed. It was clean, AC kept it nice and cool, peaceful location. KC gave perfect instructions.

Amazing host, definitely recommend if you’re in the area for hunting and/or just wanting a quiet retreat!

best family vacation we have had in years! felt so at home with my family and pets. Wes contacted me upon arrival to make sure we were OK, he checked in when we checked out to see if we needed anything and offered a couple extra days at a discount. wish we could have stayed. everything about this place is absolutely wonderful!! Beautiful cabin with plenty of space for our 7 guest. Each and every one of us had absolutely no complaints. Highly recommend !!! Comes fully furnished for all your needs cooking,gaming,and of course it's located right on the river in witch we all got to enjoy,fishing, swimming and kayaking.

Beautiful place. Easy access to the water and friendly neighborhood. The owner was very easy to talk to and answered questions within minutes.

We were in town for an event. The house was near the event and a welcome site after a long day. We hope to stay here again next year. It was a wonderful place.

This place was so fun! It was perfect in every way and was a great experience. The host was amazing and so sweet. The cabin was peaceful, easy to find, everything was as described, and we will definitely go back. We highly recommend staying here or any place that Alisa has! Loved the pretty decor. House was immaculate. surroundings were peaceful and quiet- just what we were looking for. Outside amenities were nice - the BBQ grill, the outside porch, the lake across the street. Bobby was very accommodating, and always responded to us quickly when we needed something. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Definitely keep this one in mind on future trips. We enjoyed all it had to offer in peace and quiet. Love that you can walk to the river near the cabin.
