Holiday houses in Perrysville

Super cool place, looks just like the pictures. We loved being outside and the hot tub was awesome. Even on a rainy day there were so many things to do inside with all the games and streaming devices. The rooms were all very spacious and comfortable, the bathrooms were clean and well kept. A highly recommended place to go.

We had a great stay in Dana. Kevin’s house is beautiful, with a private access to the apartment above his garage. It is quite secluded but easy to find. We showed up after dark but Kevin had lights lining the driveway for us to see our way. The front of the house was roaming with deer when we arrived. The apartment was very spacious and nicely decorated with a comfy couch and chair in the living area and antique bedroom furniture in the bedroom. The place was very clean, to the point of spotless. The bath towels were fluffy and the shampoo, conditioner and body wash were provided. During our stay we went to Parke county to see covered bridges throughout the day, visited the old mill in Bridgeton, ate at Benjamin’s in Rockville, and watched a movie at the old time movie theater The Ritz. I enjoyed my time in the area and would love to return during the bridge festival one day.

Shelly is the best! This was a phenomenal find and an excellent place. We will absolutely be returning for multiple stays. With regard to finding the house, depending on what your GPS says (my wife's stopped at the gravel road and mine went directly to the house). When you turn onto the gravel road, keep driving until you make a 90 degree right then 90 degree left. After you've completed these turns, the house is on the right/south side. We have zero complaints whatsoever about the house, Shelly, and the ease of staying here.

We loved Kickapoo Creekside Escape and would definitely stay there again. Lots to do if you are a nature lover and not too far from town if you needed something.

Michael is a great host! We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. It has a beautiful view of the lake. It was comfortable with lots of amenities. We would go back!

The nature and location is peaceful and right what we were looking for. Perfect place to travel to with kids. I have a 4 year old daughter and she had a blast! The host was responsive and friendly. She took care of hot tub (water was cloudy) the same day and was really nice about it. Christine changed the whole water and scrubbed it, so we could use it. A few things to note: the door doesn’t lock from the inside (sliding door), so we had to improvise and used drying racks to “lock” it. We also had an issue to lock it from the outside, so we ended up taking valuables with us, thankfully we didn’t have a lot, so it didn’t bother us. And another thing: the walls don’t extend to the ceiling in bedrooms, so even though there are walls to divide the space, it was a little challenging in the evening, especially when my daughter went to bed. Thankfully the weather was good and we chilled outside, while she was falling asleep. Other than that, I highly recommend this place! We will be back!

We cannot say enough kind things about Melissa and her place! She was gracious enough to let us check in multiple hours early! She and her daughters brought up the horses & baby ducks for our toddlers to interact with, also the cats were a huge hit! Melissa (& family) were very friendly when we wanted to interact but kept to themselves otherwise which we appreciated. The barn is open concept with plenty of room to run around since the weather wasn’t ideal. The mattresses were SUPER comfortable, slept like a dream! Even our 3 year old slept all night which never happens Lol. The king size bed frame is kinda noisy but didn’t bother us personally. The bathroom was spotless other than a scrunchie left in the shower (assuming from past guest), we just left that be. Loved the shower head combo they have, kind of jealous Lol! The choices in board/card games were a nice surprise for us. We absolutely loved our stay and are already trying to figure out when to stay again!

Treetops is an amazing gem. It's very quiet, comfortable and it's located next to a national forest. We felt like we were home. We hiked Turkey Run state park, ate at local restaurants in Rockville, grilled out on the deck and hiked a great trail / creek bed right on the property. Anna was very responsive and helpful. We would love to come back and stay both in the fall to see the changing foliage and to experience some winter hiking too.
